Pleased with the purchase of this roof top rack. I assembled it by myself with the provided tools. Needed two people and step stools to mount it without scratching the Jeep roof. After two camping trips it performed well except for one thing. The black coating on the rack easily scratched when metals objects rubbed against it. I live in a coastal city and rust is showing where the coating scratched off. Locks for the rack mounting brackets would be nice.

I was iffy about buying this considering the mixed reviews but it’s a nice product. Fits the jeep perfectly and is good material. Only downfall is the instructions. They aren’t that great. But there was no missing pieces and no scratches even though the box was in rough shape. All and all very satisfied.

It does not fit onto a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Moab. It took 2 skilled people three hours to assemble because half the parts are mislabeled and the directions are not clear. The bolts are cheap, and stripped upon install despite us being careful. The pieces that sit on top of the car are not padded and will scratch up the painted roof of your car. Attempting to add a cushion to avoid more scratches will render the entire thing useless because it will no longer fit on the roof securely. I now have several hundred dollars of paint damage to repair and a $350 piece of trash to figure out how to return to Amazon in one piece because the stripped screws would need to be cut off at this point. BUYER BEWARE.

I had absolutely no problem installing this rooftop cargo basket on my girlfriend's Jeep. It's really stunning. We like the tough look and the strong carrying capacity. It's become a foundation for tarps, awnings, and extensions in camp. Also since it is steel, we can magnet a short tarp to it to block the Sun while parked for shopping or short trips to town.

This is a decent half size rack for the gladiator but it seems a little weak to me. I think saying that it could carry 300 lb is pushing it but even that isn't up to the standard as far as I'm concerned. Now outside of the weight limits the roof rack seems to be decently made but the hardware seems to be on the cheap side. There is quite a good deal of assembly required so in cases like these you would want quality hardware. Overall it's not great but not terrible. Until We Meet Again -Off The Grid Ken

On arrival, I had to bust out the dolly, because this thing is heavy. Limited instruction, but not overly difficult to fumble through. I wish there was some additional protection from paint scratching and, unfortunately it is very vehicle specific, including limiting Jeep models, but it does fit. A more universal capability would be welcomed, and definitely plan for having assistance (person or overhead wench) during install to further protect the vehicle.
