Definitely buy these shades! They were very easy to install on the window. With a drill, it took about 5-10 minutes. They fit the window nicely. They are easy to pull down and stay in place. The shade is good thickness and it is light blocking. The color is exactly as advertised. We bought more for other windows in our house because we liked it so much. Does a good job of blacking out. The retraction isn't perfectly smooth and sometimes needs a little encouragement, but overall great function. It was very easy to install, and they have a groove along the entire back of the support so I could easily mount it on studs instead of having to use anchors. These blinds look great and function great. Light does get through around the sides, but they still greatly reduce the amount of light coming in. Also they’re super easy to install.

This blind works very well, it does look good, it is well made and it is easy to operate. I specifically like the operation, you pull down to close and push up to open. The whole mechanism works smoothly. You get all the hardware needed inside the box (brackets, anchors and screws). In my case I used a cordless drill to make the holes in the window's frame, then set the screws for the brackets. That is all tools I needed.
