I like the high-top which gives a little extra support. These are comfortable with or without my foot inserts I use when I have tendon flare-ups. They are lightweight which is a bonus for me and my knees; heavier shoes can be so cumbersome after a whole day of walking and working on your feet. I work in a public school. They are easier to get on and off than a traditional sneaker. With regard to cleaning, I don’t want to put them in the washing machine because I have a previous pair of Hey Dudes (different style) that lost their shape a bit. To clean, I just spot clean. These are super cute, they are lightweight, not noisy when walking (as long as you don't drag your feet around) support well and good quality. The color is like the picture. The only issue is ithe top liner does rub when walking, so not for short socks, but that's fine. Great shoe so far!
