This is an update after 1 year use. Pros. well-built, good looking, compact and great value. The assembly instruction was well written, and the machine is easy to assemble. The rowing stroke is smooth and allows full body motion rowing, like Concept 2. This rowing machine is not for advanced user: the water tank is simply not large enough to provide the necessary heavier resistance for advanced use. For beginner/intermediate user, the machine is great: compact, inexpensive, good looking, and very easy to assemble. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPER: About 2 weeks ago, I could not use the rowing machine because the tank stopper leaked bother. It turns out the stopper (robber plug) deteriorated over time, and needed replacement. I emailed the customer supper (name Icey), and he/she have 2 stoppers promptly delivered to my place in no time. The stoppers were actually fedex to me and it took only a few days from my request to to my front door! The customer support itself convinced me that I should purchase future equipment from the company. Given the quality of customer service, I am sure the company is here to stay and stand behind its products. Cons. I am yet to figure how to properly use the digital display. The instruction is not well written, and the display not intuitive. I have not able to connect my phone/tablet to the Bluetooth.     • Great rower at a great price
This feels like a higher end rower but at a pretty bargain price. It was super easy to assemble, and is smooth and quiet. I had an issue with the pedals but the customer service was top notch and they took care of it for me. I would highly recommend this rower.

Really nice rower and definitely gives you a solid workout. Easy to assemble as well. Provides a total body workout. Waited a few weeks to post a review after using the machine. The only Con I have is the foot rests and your feet absolutely will slide out as you intensify your workout. This is the only reason 4-stars otherwise would be a 5. For a company that specializes in making such equipment why in the world can’t you solve for one of the most fundamental components of a rower workout and that’s your heels not popping out of the back of the foot rests? All you have to do is increase your mold size and add about two more inches of plastic to the back of the foot rest and this should help. Not rocket science here. I’d also point out after two weeks of using the machine I’m not quite sure how long the straps that hold your feet in place will last. They are already fraying???? ... show more

Good rower for the price. Easy to assemble. Some reviews said their feet would slide off the foot rests. I found if you make sure your feet are snug against the inner border and really tighten the straps I had no problems. I recommend this rower.

Went with this rower because it had a higher weight limit and measured out to fit me at 6’ 2 3/4” & 225lbs. For the most part it works as long as I don’t throw it back too hard I won’t hit the back stop. The pedals looked big enough for size 13 feet, but that’s not the case as shown in the picture. Not the biggest deal except my feet slip out even after strapping them down as tight as possible. I’ve tried three pairs of shoes that I use to workout general tennis shoes, runners, and cross trainers. The flat back of the cross trainers wired the best but I can only get to about 23-24spm before my feet slip out of the bottom. After googling replacement pedals I couldn’t find anything that looks like it would work. I’m going to give it another workout or two before returning to see if I can make something work, but I think it’ll ultimately end in a return. Pros: Feels good enough - maybe the newness of a water rower makes it better than it is but it makes a cool sound too. Very peaceful Easy to set up Could be perfect for someone under 6’ 1”-2” App is pretty cool with the data it gets from the rower. If this rower fit me I’d love to continue using the app Cons: Does not properly fit me at my height and foot size Front stopper hole did not align properly no matter the adjustments I made to tue surrounding screws. Not the biggest deal because I don’t hit the front Not really a con because what do you expect from a machine this inexpensive, but built in splits and workouts to the little computer unit would be really nice. The app has more data but I prefer to put the tablet there with a podcast or video. Just know if you’re used to the concept 2 computer unit you might not like how this one works. I don’t think this warrants a star reduction as reading other comments I knew this going in. TLDR; if you’re tall and have big feet this might not work for you. Some screw hole misalignment for the front stop could only be my machine but buyer beware. It’s easy to set up and would probably be good for anyone under 6’ and under a 10-11 shoe size. ... show more

We did a lot of research before deciding on this product. The assembly was incredibly easy, our 14 year old was actually the one to assemble it and it did not take long at all. Filling the tank is very easy. We added one tablet to the tank, and based on reviews for other rowers, we crushed it prior to adding it to the tank and it dissolved easily. One of the reasons we selected this model was for the Bluetooth capability so our son could use an app while rowing. The machine is smooth, quiet, and works exactly as described. This is a rower meant for more of a beginner. My son is a cross country runner and at water level 5 (out of 6) he struggles to get his heart rate up. I am not nearly as in shape and he is and it is a great fit for myself. I highly recommend this rower For ease of use, assembly, as well as the price. ... show more

    • Feet want stay in peddles
I opened this app and thought it was going to be great. I’m so mad because it’s too big to try to send back and put together to get it in the box. Your feet will not stay in the paddles because the backs are too short I’m furious
