Not sure if the blade that came with it was dull or if it just isn’t a very good product but it barely shaved any wood off of the relatively soft wood I was using. Maybe if I used way more force it would’ve gotten a bit more but at that point it’s easier to use a carving knife or similar

This product was very inexpensive and worked well. I had two doors that had swollen over the years and were sticking. This tool did a nice job of shaving the edge of the doors. This is a great little gadget to add to your tool box. I refinish furniture and sometimes need to remove more wood than sanding can do but not enough to need to break out a saw.
