Description

One of the finest techniques to come out of the art Nouveau movement, the Tiffany-style stained glass shade on this torchiere floor lamp makes for a stunning addition to any space. While steeped in traditional design with it's barley-twist base and Green botanical motif on the shade, this piece is updated with the functionality expected today -- a step-on on/off button, LED bulb compatibility, and a beautiful silk-wrapped cord. Each shade is hand-made by artisans who specialize in the intricate art of stained glass soldering.

Absolutely gorgeous! Easy to put together (just keep the cord straight, which is also easy to do). It gives a great amount of light and the colors are beautiful. The on/off switch is on the floor, which can be a bit inconvenient, and the swirl designs on the pieces of the long stand don't perfectly line up, but the lamp is so lovely, that these details don't bother me, and don't remove any part of a star. This is a quality product for the money. It was easy to assemble. It's perfect for a bedroom since the colorful shade prevents a brighter light. The informational card that came with it really needs to be right redone. The card is a light brown/tan color with white writing that's impossible to read. I think this card talks about the company, artisan, and the care instructions, but again, you can't read it ... show more
