Overall, the lamp itself isn't too bad. When not too close to it, it looks pretty nice. What's slightly irritating–and could have been done better–is that the color of the base and cap at the top is different from the main part and that's pretty obvious. I assume because of different material. As for the feel, some have mentioned it's "too light" and feels cheap, since it's a lamp and you are not moving the object, I don't think it's too big of a deal, also, it's a very slim lamp, so it won't be super heavy anyway. As for the light temperature: it's probably on the cooler side but not super white. I think it comes down to personal preference, it's not as "warm" as indicated in the picture but think the brightness/color is good since it would be a bit dark otherwise anyway. The most annoying part is the power cord and switch/dimmer. I like that the company responded to feedback and included a dimmer (I saw previous versions didn't include it). However, as others stated, it looks super cheap and bulky and just really does not match this lamp and the price. It is ugly. It also has a red light that comes on, which is super irritating as well. So if you can't hide that big dimmer switch and red light nearby the lamp, you might want to reconsider. Also, the pictures and then packaging and tags suggest it's a "design" piece and it includes the wording that it has a "silk lamp cord that's way too stylish to hide", which is inaccurate and especially hard when you then get to see the actual cord and switch, which is the opposite of stylish. The dimmer range is kind of small as well, there's not much difference. Assuming the lamp is to be used in a way that the golden part shows towards the room and the lamp itself to the wall, as shown in the pictures, and mentioned by other reviewers and probably makes most sense, the design of the connection from the power cord to the lamp just makes no sense as well; this should be on the other side then. Now, you have that big black connection piece starting right at you and the cable leaving the lamp towards the front. Comparing it with other "cheaper" lamps, it does not feel like a >$100 lamp. I like the overall design idea and look but execution needs improvement, it doesn't seem well thought through and definitely needs replacement of that power cord and don't think the price is right. ... show more

Is very hot to the touch. Cord is bulky and needs to be hidden. Step on to turn the light on has trouble staying turned up correctly. I still like the floor lamp overall. it arrived bent, but we were able to straighten it out.

I have the light behind a chair and it illuminates nicely! I was a little disappointed on the height; I believe there is a way to adjust the height but I ended up placing the sturdy/heavy base of the lamp on a firm box to add some height. The product is quality made; heavy duty cable wire, quality heavy metal base/stem, LED bulb is perfect size, with dimer from very bright to cozy - nice. I thought the price was a little expensive, being that basically, the parts composed of LED light, metal stem - wiring - not very expensive parts. If you want to be the first on the block- I recommend and you will not be disappointed - otherwise I see copy cats and the price going down. ... show more

This lamp serves two purposes...it is a beautiful peice of art, along with a lamp. I am very particular about what I purchase & always like the nicer things it seems! I adore this lamp. It adds a touch of class, beauty and art to my bedroom. The ONLY thing I would change is I wish the lowest lighting setting was less bright. I have the end table light as well, which is stunning as well, but the same goes true for that. The bright lighting settings are more bothersome being right next to your bed. I pictured it being a reading light, but it definitely would keep someone else up so that is the only drawback. It is still worth it. I have been looking for the perfect addition and I am so happy with both! ... show more
