I bought this auger for farm and property projects where digging post holes by hand was getting old fast. I’ve used it for fence posts, planting, and general outdoor work, and overall it’s been a solid tool for the price. The engine has more power than I expected for a smaller gas auger. Once it gets into softer soil, it digs quickly and saves a huge amount of time compared to manual digging. The included bit sizes are useful depending on what you’re doing, and having extension rods included was a nice bonus for deeper holes. Startup was fairly straightforward after mixing fuel correctly and getting everything assembled. Like most 2-stroke equipment, it can take a few pulls when cold, but once running it stayed consistent during use. One thing buyers absolutely need to understand is that these augers can fight back hard if you hit roots, rocks, or packed clay. This is not one of those tools you casually one-hand while sipping coffee. If the bit catches suddenly, you’re going to feel it in your arms and shoulders. Good footing and controlled operation matter a lot. Build quality seems decent overall for a budget-friendly auger. It’s probably not commercial contractor grade, but for farm, fencing, gardening, or occasional property use it seems capable enough. The only reason I knocked off one star is because some of the hardware and finish details feel a little more “budget tool” than premium equipment. Functionally though, it gets the job done and saves a ton of labor. Overall, if you need an affordable powered auger for fence lines, planting, or property work, this is a useful tool as long as you respect the amount of torque it produces.

This 2-stroke gas post hole digger is easy to assemble, starts quickly, and runs smoothly. With strong power, it drills clean holes in dirt and tough soil, making it ideal for farm work, fencing, and garden projects. The included auger sizes and extension rods add great versatility. While there can be some wobble when pulling it up at high speed, easing the throttle solves the issue. Overall, it delivers excellent performance and value for the price. Awesome machine. I've only drilled 4 post holes so far but everything was easy to put together, it fired up right away, ran smoothly, and dug beautiful holes. The motor unit to extender rod to drill bit connections are not tight or very deep so it will wobble when pulling it up at speed. Best to throttle the speed down and back up in bursts to clear dirt and reduce wobbling as you pull up.

Fast shipping. Item as advertised. Somewhat light weight but powerful. Be careful it can spin you around. Use caution. Looks very sturdy and well designed. Easy to operate. A give a five star because everything came in earlier then expected and it really works. Only time and durability will deduct stars from this item as of today just used it for maybe 6hrs.

I dont usually write reviews, but i was so impressed with this i decided why not, It arrived on time, assembly was very easy, I used 8 inch auger and was skeptical at first, but i was impressed it made short work out of 165 holes right out of the box, i will say the exhaust is a bit annoying but way better than slinging a shovel, plenty of power, had no problem with some oak and pine roots. Great purchase.
