Worked for a bit
Worked for a few weeks before then it started turning off after about 5-10min. Not great for trouble shooting. Really liked the compact size and red light was easy to see.

Finding faults made easier
Compact fault locator. There is no instructions and has a micro usb port on the side. Possibly to charge lithium based AAA batteries?

Nice bang for your buck
I use it at work everyday, it’s very bright and Fucntions like advertised. As a matter of fact many co workers are using it.

It’s cheap and it does what it’s supposed to do.
I like the VFL and have bought 2. The first one broke after a month or two. The button separated from the circuit board. Maybe isolated to that unit. The 2nd I’ve have for 6 months and it’s holding up fine. I have got out 6km on a metro network, pretty good. It’s seems they work way better than the mag light style ones. It’s easy to clean and holds alignment very well.

Dropped couple times
I’ve dropped this VFL multiple times and it still works not like those other light saber looking vfl’s. Pretty bright.
