We do a lot of traveling, especially in nature. So when my son said he wanted a set of these, I grabbed this pair and love them. They come in a nice carrying case, have a stand and work perfectly. You can see clearly and see every tiny detail of what you are looking at. Both sides are capped, so they easily stay nice and clean and it even has a built in compass on the top. The media could not be loaded. FANTASTIC ITEM!!! I bought this monocular to take photos and videos of birds with my phone. It is a little difficult to operate and my phone fell down several times when I was playing with my tripod, but everything should be okay if you are careful. I don't think a small tripod in the kit is sufficient to operate the whole construction, so I highly recommend purchasing a bigger size tripod. I'm not removing a star for the tripod, because I believe that the price would be higher if the bigger tripod was included. I really want to add the videos I took, but for some reason Amazon wouldn't let me. I'd just say that I'm satisfied with the result. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This monocular is an outdoors person’s dream. Its built tough and its designed to be used, withstand the elements, and dropped. The exterior is coated with a rubberized, shock absorbing, and grippy material and the lens covers are made from that same material. Its equipped with a compass and lanyard, and accessories like a carrying case with a loop to fit on a belt or strap, a tripod, a cell phone mount so you can film or photograph images, and a cleaning cloth for the lenses. Its also water resistant. It has 40X magnification and 60mm object lens diameter monocular. It uses a superior prism that not only magnifies but enhances image quality that you can appreciate in low light and night vision. Despite all of these great features, its small and lightweight.
