Personally, let me state that I have worked as a veterinary technician for the better of 20+ years. I have used a lot of different brands of pet ear flush. I have always loved Jeffers and have found their brands to be very dependable, but had never tried this particular ear flush. This stuff is incredible. I love the smell and it works so well on cleaning my cats ears. It even has a very small amount of ketoconazole in it to help with yeast or fungal infections. This does not however, replace having your pets ears checked if they’re having trouble. But for the occasional cleaning, this stuff is perfect. I highly recommend it.

First I want to say that I am a huge Jeffers pet fan, we have been ordering from their catalog and website for literal decades. It is a trusted brand with great dog products, at affordable prices. Second this is the first time I've ever used an ear wash from them. The bottle came with a plastic seal around to the exterior and when I took it off there was a wet film on the bottle itself, so it definitely leaked. I was surprised to see it did not have a foil seal on the bottle under the cap. The bottle was still very full though so I did not lose quantity in the process. The cleanser is fairly easy to use, you twist the cap lift the dog ear squirt a little into the canal, and then massage the base of the ear and then wipe away excess moisture. The instructions also say you should immediately wash your hands and not let the dog lick the moisture. I don't see any irritation or issues with using this, it appears to be a mild and safe formula. The dog shakes his head like he would any other time I put cleanser or drops in his ears. When I use a cloth after a minute or so it does help me release the gunk in his ear. It's easy to wash off and I don't have any residual odor on my hands afterwards. I actually do not smell and odor as I use it either. My vet has recommended that I use an ear cleaner weekly on my Labrador and this one is easy to use and is Affordable. I think it will work well for us.

Good general ear cleaner except for ketoconazole. This is a large bottle and good size for large dogs. It has a cap that twists making it easy to apply the cleaner into the ears. This cleaner is unscented which is good for dogs with sensitive or broken skin. It has a slight soapy quality making it effective to break up earwax. The only thing I don’t love for a general ear cleaner is that it has ketoconazole in it which is an antifungal and unnecessary unless your dog has an ear infection caused by yeast.

I recently tried a new dog ear cleaner and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, I noticed that about one-third of the bottle had leaked, which I suspect was caused by pressure changes during shipping to Hawaii. I've come across similar feedback from other users, so it might be something to consider. My dog is quite averse to having his ears sprayed, so I've found that offering him treats helps with compliance during the process. After using the cleaner for a few days, I observed a noteworthy reduction in the black buildup, and I appreciated the pleasant scent of the product. While the relief from itching appears to last only a day or two, I still have plenty of the cleaner left and am optimistic about achieving better results with ongoing use. you may have better results. At under $20 a bottle, it might be worth a shot. It’s definitely cheaper than what the vet provides and could be a viable option to avoid costly vet visits. I'm committed to using it for a while longer to see if it becomes a suitable solution for my dog's needs.

Quickly and easily cleansed your pup’s ears. My dogs usually hate having their ears cleaned…I’m not sure if that was due to the solution we were using before or whatnot, but they genuinely don’t seem to mind this one. There were no weird skin reactions and overall it worked very well to clean their ears. This is a thin, more watery liquid so no thick gels or oily like substance to have to really get in there and make your pup uncomfortable for. Good value and highly recommend adding this to your pet supplies!
