    • Easy to put together
It was easy with a few wrinkles. First the hole in the base was not lined up, you have to use some strength to line it up. Second, they show in the directions there is a ring to screw the shade into the pole. I could not find up. Upon further investigation i found the ring was already attached to the pole so, it just had to be unscrewed then place the shade on the pole and rescrew the ring onto pole ... show more

    • Cannot assemble due to poor factory assembly of base.
I can’t use this lamp because the base’s round metal plates weren’t properly matched up, and they are solidly glued together and can’t move adjusted into the correct shape to hold the pole. Unfortunate that quality control isn’t a thing at the Chinese factory that manufactures this lamp.

I ordered two of these lamps and was disappointed to find that both arrived defective. The lamp base was glued together incorrectly so the pole cannot be inserted into the hole.

The part on the base where you needed to screw the lamp in was misaligned so it couldn't be screwed in.
