Description

The JBL S2 - 1024SS Series II enclosures deliver the enhanced efficiency and higher output of a vented enclosure, without the distracting noise or “chuffing” generated by a port. The patented Slipstream port dramatically reduces port noise at high sound pressure levels by minimizing airflow turbulence. With high-roll surrounds, proprietary cone design and long- excursion, Series II enclosures deliver deep, powerful bass, with greater accuracy than conventional ported boxes. And the exclusive SSI™ (Smart Selectable Impedance) switch lets you choose 2- or 4-ohm impedance for maximum configuration flexibility.

I have always been a fan of Harman Kardon over other audio tech companies. Whether I'm using Infinity, Harman Kardon, or JBL as I've used in my 2020 Subaru Forester Sport, I always come out with impressive sound and thump. No complaints here.

First off I bought it under the impression it had a built in amp seeing as how 3 or 4 people said it did in the comments under the picture but it does not have one. Misinformation to say the least. As for the quality, sound, power handling, looks of it it's one of the best 10's I've ever owned and I've had em all from Kenwood, Pioneer, Fosgates and on and on and this bad boy packs a puck. I have a 2500 watt max and on it from Walmart (really pushes like 650 rms give or take a few watts, it's definitely not top of the line Power Accoustik. Anyway it's a quality speaker at a decent price in a good box specifically made for the sub. I recommend it. ... show more

I’m so glad I bought this, goes perfectly with my Rockford Fosgate R2-250X1. Previously started with a Rockford Fosgate 10 inch shallow prime sub and it just wasn’t cutting it. This JBL ported one HITS HARD!

I like how good this 10 inch subwoofer sounds! It can handle alot of bass. It sounds smooth and deep bass. It's not going to take your breath away, but it will shake the rearview mirror hard. Sounds good with Rap and heavy metal.
