  • It’s a solid EBike from a notable brand with support
Color: obsidian
I researched ebikes for a week or so before settling on Jasion. I wanted to make sure the company i chose had customer service and a good reputation as there are a lot of no name bikes out there and if you meed support there is no one to contact. That being said, we chose the old model retrovolt for our teen boys because we liked the styling of the bike. When the item arrived the one of the seats was damaged in packing, the customer service sent me a new seat immediately after contacting them with pix. No complaints there. As far as the performance, it’s everything they say it is. You can get it up to 30 mph pretty quickly. It’s fun to ride. The battery lasts a long time. It’s functional if you add a basket to it. It’s easy to put together and I’m not mechanically inclined. All the brake pads rubbed badly out of the box so i wish they gave instruction on how to adjust those. (As all 3 of the bikes i ordered from them had this issue ) It is fitted for a second person, i have not tried two up but i don’t think it would be comfortable and i doubt it would have the same level of power getting to higher speeds. We use it off and on road which is why we chose this model. Handles both effortlessly. I kind of think the chain pedal assist is stupid. It would make way more sense to just make it full powered. But I’m sure there is a legal reason they all have pedal assist. It is not a bike you are ever gonna just pedal ride. I guess if you ran out of juice on your battery, but it would be a difficult journey. I also nought the YR20 Jaison from the website which is basically the updated version. It is quicker off the line. It has some upgraded parts. It came with a 2 yr warranty and was only a couple hundred more. I would recommend this for bang for the buck and quality. ... show more

  • Initial impressions Initial impressions
Color: Green
My highly modified Rad Mini 4 was getting long in the tooth and needed a full rebuild and I didn't want to be without a bike for this spring, so I picked up this one. A bit about me and my use case: I'm a short 5'4" 65 year old guy that lives in North Portland, OR. There is a lot of very good bike routes in my area so I can get anywhere I need on an ebike. The bike was easy to put together, the hardest part was getting it out of the box. It took me about an hour. Charged up the battery and aired up the tires and have been riding it for the past week or so. I'd say I've put about 30 miles on it. This bike moves. I'd say I can get it up to about 33 MPH but if you ride it that fast all the time you're going to chew up your battery quickly. I find myself usually in mode 3 which keeps me at about 22 MPH max. With the Rad I would mostly ride it full throttle, even after upgrading the controller and adding a 52V battery. I need to learn that I don't need to floor the Jasion. It is nice to be able to get up-to-speed with traffic when needed for some sections of my area that don't really have bike lanes (Lombard over I-5.) Build quality is quite acceptable and the parts are standard. The brakes are good and the ride is competent and comfortable. I'm about as short as someone would want to be for this, so keep that in mind if you're on the lower side of five foot. I purchased an ebike trunk from Harbor Freight (Apache 2800) and bolted that on to the existing holes on the back deck, it fits well and give me a place to store my lock. I also added mirrors (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6RBSGQT) which makes riding so much safer in traffic. All in all, it's an outstanding value for the money and was about half what I paid for the Rad 4 years ago. If you want a nice little neighborhood runabout, this is a good choice. ... show more

  • Terrible Bike
Color: Gradient Gray
A terrible bike front axle broke at low speed which caused my son a broken arm. Seller refuses to replace, fix, or pay to ship it back.

  • Very tall Very tall
Color: 48V 13AH Ombre Gray with Front Basket
It was great and easy to build the only hard part what was needed to adjust the back wheels since there was a SLIGHT scraping noise which was annoying to deal with. I will also say it is quite tall😅i’m 5’3 and I can only stand on one tiptoe at a time so it’s a little hard to take off and stop. I had my boyfriend also adjust the spring but unfortunately we learned that just makes my butt take the brute force of the road if I hit a bump. Other than those it’s a great bang for your buck and it goes pretty fast! It’s lovely for relaxing rides ... show more

  • Can't ask for much more out of an ebike at the price
Color: obsidian
I ordered the Pro. A great bike, with a couple of issues. Shipping was super fast. Welds look sturdy and well done. Seat is comfortable. Had to realign front breaks upon assembly ( that allen wrench wasnt included). Front fork wasnt centered, had to adjust. Recommends a special wrench to adjust front and rear shocks. Make sure you watch assembly videos so you dont miss anything. Check your nuts and bolts, make sure everything is tight. Air up the tires correctly. Make sure cruise control is off when first riding. Ive only got it up to 31 mph so far (I'm 5'10" 220) ALSO, why this bike isnt included in the companion app blows my mind. ... show more

  • Research before committing
Color: 48V 13AH Steel Gray
I come from a hardware and systems background, so I tend to evaluate beyond trends and focus on performance and integration. My teenage son wanted a Jaison e-bike since many of his friends ride them, so I paid close attention to how it actually behaved in real-world use before forming an opinion. What stood out immediately was the consistency in power delivery and control response. Watching him ride, there were no abrupt throttle spikes or uneven acceleration curves, and braking appeared smooth without any harsh or unpredictable stops. The bike maintained stable behavior throughout, and he never looked like he was compensating for the machine. That kind of predictable output suggests the motor, controller, and braking system are working in sync rather than fighting each other. From a hardware perspective, it feels like a well-balanced system rather than a rushed product built for hype. The frame stability, weight distribution, and responsiveness all contributed to a confident riding experience, which is exactly what you want for a younger rider. For parents who think in terms of control systems and reliability, this e-bike delivers where it matters most. I will update my review in 45 days after I compile enough data. I expect some issues, but I am also raising a future technician. ... show more
