I’ve been riding electric bikes for years, and the Jasion RetroVolt has quickly become my new favorite. I previously owned a Super73 for its rugged build and a Pedal e-bike for quick errands around town. After putting the RetroVolt through its paces for a few weeks, I’m beyond impressed! First off, the RetroVolt’s design is an instant head-turner. It has that retro-cool aesthetic that rivals (and honestly surpasses) the Super73’s distinctive style. I get so many compliments, and its vintage flair blends beautifully with modern e-bike tech. Ride comfort is where it truly shines. The dual suspension setup absorbs every bump, delivering a smoother experience than my Super73 ever did. Even my Pedal e-bike, which was solid for short commutes, can’t compete with the cushioned ride I get on the RetroVolt. Performance also stands out. The motor provides ample torque for quick acceleration—even uphill. While the Super73 gave a decent punch, the RetroVolt feels just a notch more powerful off the line. Battery life is similarly impressive; I can cover my typical daily rides plus weekend adventures without constantly worrying about recharging. Practicality meets style, too. The removable battery is so convenient. I can pop it out to charge at my desk at work—something my Pedal bike lacked. The integrated lighting system is also a win for safety. Overall, the Jasion RetroVolt offers a premium blend of style, power, and comfort. If you’re debating between this bike, a Super73, or a local Pedal e-bike, I’d hands-down recommend the RetroVolt. It strikes the perfect balance of vintage charm, modern performance, and daily convenience. A must-have for any e-bike enthusiast! The media could not be loaded. Honest first 100 miles review. Let me start by saying that these bikes are an amazing value! What you pay for 2 bikes with the addition of the baskets and the rear seats is just simply unbeatable. It definitely left room in our budget for some small upgrades. The upgrades that have been done to both bikes so far are 1. Hydraulic brake calipers 2. Larger headlights 3. Pedals (just for looks) 4. Cell phone holders 4. Cup holders 5. Wheel covers 6. Mirrors. The one upgrade I felt was absolutely necessary where the brake calipers because the stock brakes are a little squeaky. The bikes were easy to put together out of the box but they are a little bulky and a little heavy. I knew that already from the photos and from other reviews that I had already read so I knew what I was getting into. These are our first e-bikes so I don't have any other e-bikes to compare them to but I do have other bikes and I could tell right out of the box that these bikes are well built. We started out with a few short rides just to get used to the bikes and fine-tune some of the settings and now we have taken them on several long rides and some off-road trails and the bikes have performed really well on all types of terrain. We live in Colorado and they have handled everything Colorado has thrown at them so far. The longest ride we have done so far was 25 mi. The range on the batteries has been pretty good overall, but on that long trip I did run out of juice about a quarter mile from our destination and I had to pedal that pretty heavy bike the rest of the way and it was not fun pedaling that much weight up any type of incline. It is hard to gauge the range on that bike because at times you will pedal and use the assist and at other times you will only throttle which makes it difficult to gauge exactly how much range you are getting. You can be checking your battery level but it takes one steep hill to take it from say 60% to 40%. So it really depends on the type of riding that you are doing. The seat is a little on the hard side so long rides can eventually start to get a little uncomfortable. And I'm not sure if I'm just getting used to it or I am starting to soften the cushion. But the last long ride I did feel a little more comfortable by the end of the ride so take that for what it's worth. All in all I have to say that this has been an excellent purchase. We have gone places we've never been before. We've gone on adventures through some beautiful state parks and trails that we would have never known. We are having so much fun with these bikes that we take them out just about every weekend now and we can't wait for our next adventure. Pros Great value Great looks 29 mph! Easy set up, clean look, and competitive with top brands. The feel of this bike is comfortable with a large seat that offers plenty of room for two. The bike is quick and maintains speed well, but keep in mind you will get about 13-16 miles on the throttle alone. The range from their description is maximum miles for 10 mph pedal assist. The bike will top out at 33 mph down hill, but will max at about 27-28 flat ground. Uphill it works great as well, on full charge it can go up at about 15-18 mph. I love this bike and I have driven it lots of miles in a short amount of time. Don’t push it with this bike, it is best as a commuter or adventure type bike. Instructions do not come with bike, but they can be found online. DO NOT TRY ON YOUR OWN. I did it in my own but it took much longer than it should have. I recommend this bike to anyone looking for a great budget buy! EDIT: 650 miles later and this thing is still a monster. I totally underestimated the power and quality of this bike. I’m super happy with how it rides and the battery has yet to show signs of deteriorating. I highly recommend this bike even after getting nearly 700 miles on it. Don’t hesitate it is the best bang for your buck.

Bike was great for the month or so my son got to ride it. Went to ride it this year and now it does not work at all. Have tried to contact customer support multiple times and never received any responses. So I’m not even sure if it’s something that can be fixed or what is wrong exactly. It someone sees this review and has suggestions- I’m all ears as my son would love to ride the bike and I would hate to have all that money wasted!
