So I ordered this because I wanted to create a habitat for my senior furry girl (12 yo shih tzu, who, from now on shall be referred to as my furl). I built the alternate rectangle style as opposed to the square to give her more room to pace about, and it looks pretty good. Initially she was not happy with this confinement, nor was I, as I usually like her to roam around while I am at work, but coming home to surprises started to become too common, even though I walk her 4 times a day. (I just chalk it up to old age, you know). Anyway, I was worried that the door to floor ratio would be incompatible with her little legs, but since our acquisition, my furl has learned to knock on her door, alerting me to unlock it as she proceeds to push open the door and hop out all by herself. Also worth noting: she has learned to sorta fold her potty pads up when she does use them, which helps with cleanup, but she has also decreased her pad usage tremendously. Terrible product. Not only were the panels not sanded down properly and cut my hands up a bunch during assembly, but my 11 pound dog destroyed one of them within 3 days and broke out.

Super easy to build and it looks amazing. Super sturdy and our pups are happy with it. The bottom of entry door is a bit high and our dogs have to jump over but not a big deal.

Nice alternative to the name brand one. I wish the door fully opens so we don't have to climb over into the play pen. Also, wish the door locks were black to match the full design. Update. We had a chance to use this for a while and sadly the materials are very flimsy. The clear panels already broke. The door did not hold on well and broke off. Screws kept falling off because it was so small and couldn't withhold the constant use of the door. ... show more

So I was looking for a perfect playpen for my dog and decided on this one. I won’t say it’s not good, it’s only been a few hours but I will say that panels are a lot thinner almost flimsy than I would have wanted. It is a lot bigger than I thought which isn’t bad but would have definitely wanted something a bit sturdier. About a 3 month update: Milano aka my dog loves it. It’s his little home. Even though he sometimes scratches at the sides there have not been any significant scratch marks left befind. To clean the plexiglass I just use windex or a damp paper towel. If you have a small dog weighing between 1-15lbs I definitely recommend! ... show more

Good Quality. These work best for dogs, little kittens or smaller pets, because they won't be able to jump over. My bunny absolutely love it. All the pieces came with plastic protection film and in perfect mint condition. The assembling is easy and instructions were clear on the manual. I do wish the panels were a little taller, but it's meeting the immediate need and hopefully we won't need it by the time they are big enough to jump out. Overall still a good purchase! ... show more

    • NOT SAFE - Poorly made and hard to install
Do not buy this product. It is extremely poorly made. The sides scratched just taking the plastic coating off, and the plexiglass holes are completely unforgiving so unless you are able to line it up perfectly each time, don’t bother. Updated: The edges of the door are not safe for pets and the bottom edge scraped my puppy’s underbelly. He is now scared to go in/out of the pen and in/out of his crate. I hadn’t planned to return this as it took so long to build and would be a hassle to take apart but it’s simply not worth my pet’s safety. ... show more

    • My puppy got her back foot stuck in between the plexiglass in the black bar and she was screaming..
The media could not be loaded. Luckily, I was home or it could’ve been a lot worse she even fit me because she was in so much pain but I was trying to get her out. I had to push the plexiglass back and grab her foot and pull it out. Now today, I was still waking up and my puppy started playing with my cat and I saw that they were too close to the edge, but I didn’t grab them in time, and my cat got knocked on the floor and fell on the door and broke it in half. I’m sure that really hurt him to. So for safety measures and so your door doesn’t snap in half. I would keep it closed at all times. ... show more
