After having ordered 2 of this bike and riding them around for a month here are my key takeaways to share. Challenges 1. I see they addressed the issue with people saying the front wheel fork gets bent in delivery by putting a bar with 2 nuts on it. Confusing part though was this was not reflected in any videos or the instructions. For a noob this presented a challenge but eventually I figured out what it was, its purpose, and how to remove it. Overall assembly took me about 30mins per bike. 2. On one of the bikes the back tire was flat day 1. Pumping it up gets it good for about a day but it needs a tube replacement. I don't know how to replace it but what I have gathered with these bikes is that they are easy to figure out with enough online research and some basic tools. 3. There are no holes to install things like bottle holders and phone holders. Get ones with clamps! Things I appreciate about it, 1. For the price point it has been a blast! It has gotten me on the road after work most days which is a huge win for my personal goals. It is a ton of fun and having the ability to change from 0-3 in assist is helpful for when I want it off to push myself or if I need it at some points on hills and such. It will not get you up a steep hill by itself! But it will assist you which is mainly the point. 2. It has an intuitive feel about it. The handlebars and seat are comfortable, the throttle and display are sleek and handy, I can tell it was well designed. 3. I have taken it on paved trails and roads just fine, as well as some easy trails. It is rather smooth overall. 4. Battery life is great if you don't use the assist by itself or on higher levels for long periods. When treating it like a motorcycle or trying to go fastest it will die in about 2hrs of riding. But used as a gentle assist I got the same distance in that would normally cost me about 75% of my battery in about 10%. Used as a tool it is rather efficient and can last multiple trips. I am sure with time as I get stronger and build endurance I can make the battery really last. If you are looking for a fun entry point to an ebike that is well thought out and has some pep to it to get you out there then look no further! This bike is an awesome e-bike purchase!

Style: With Rear Basket
This is my second E-bike and I am very impressed with it. I must first caution anyone thinking about ordering this bike that you should be at least 5'8" tall. I am 5'7" and it is a challenge getting my leg over the bike to mount it. Also I am 76 years old, that may be a factor as well. Assembly was much easier than the first bike I ordered on Amazon. Neither unit had clear directions in the manual. But this one was relatively easy to assemble. The manual does do a pretty good job in detailing how the settings can be changed. In fact some of it is over my head! It is quite durable and riding it is fun and pleasurable. I bought this model particularly for the fat tires and they do make a difference. It is interesting in the fact that my first bike (also a Chinese brand) had the typical narrow tires with pressure suggestion of 30-45 lbs. While the fat tire bike only requires 20 lbs! I ordered the rack for the back and find it quite handy. I have reached top speed of about 28 mph which is plenty fast. I normally set PAS at 2 (it goes up to 5) and keep gear setting around 6-7. One other thing to consider is the weight of the bike, with battery attached it is about 89#. In my opinion that is a heavy bike and I have issues moving it around in the storage room at rear of my garage. I do have the MyQ app on my phone which allows me to open/close the garage using the phone. Handy in entering/exiting the garage. I've added phone holder, bell, light switch for signal lights I already had and had to add the additional bar for some of these things, just not enough room on handlebars. I am very pleased with this bike and highly recommend it.

The bike is real nice. It’s well built and sturdy. The power is real with this bike. It can go a bit faster than 28 miles an hour max speed. I had it at about 30 mph. The acceleration is really good as well. I don’t have any complaints about the performance except for the brakes. The brakes are a bit weak but still they work decently. Just don’t drive too fast and try to stop. They also squeak a bit. The assembly is not super easy. My box didn’t have an instruction manual so I pretty much had to figure stuff out on the fly. Everything was so heavy as well so you might need another person to help with assembly. It’s not super difficult but it’s also not super hard. The lights make no sense. The front lights in particular were designed by a blind man. It doesn’t make sense and it keeps popping out (see pictures). It is held in by one screw and it’s reversed in the way it hooks in it just doesn’t make sense. The other bikes have lights that screw in logically. The lights are what piss me off the most. Other than that I appreciate the extra space in the back you can store some things there unlike other things e-bikes. That’s why I was drawn to this one for the back storage area. Additionally, the seat is adjustable. If you can’t adjust the seats height it’s gonna be an uncomfortable ride. Long term you need to have the height of the seat where you like it. If the seats are not adjustable then maybe for short rides you might be fine. The battery on this is pretty good. It takes like 8 hours to charge but i believe the range for me was about 30 miles without pedaling. I also ride pretty fast at around 20 miles an hour. Overall, are there e-bikes that might be better than this, maybe. But, this bike for the price (I paid 750 plus 50 shipping) I think is spot on. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you get this bike. When I am cruising down the street with that electric power I am happy.
