I bought this for my 91 year young mother. She wanted it for when my b75 year old brother in law can over to help with the yard work. He said a cheap little saw like that was junk. A couple hours later he said mom had enough wood for the winter and he had cleaned it and put it away. But he still couldn't understand how a small light weight chain saw could cut a years supply of wood. This is a nice tool to have around for small jobs. We've been using it to clear smaller branches from trees that overhang the edges of the yard so you don't have to drive through them on the lawn mower. It does well to clear small trees too. The media could not be loaded. Nice handy tool to have around. Features I like: 1. Comes wi 2 batteries 2. Comes with a case 3. Comes with 2 chains and 2 bars - a 6” and a 8” 4. This mini chainsaw came with everything you need included in the kit and the quality of it is better than I expected. I tried it out on a few small branches and it easily rips through them in seconds and even did great on a thicker piece of wood without stopping. I haven't noticed any issues with it over heating yet and the battery life is decent and also comes with 2 batteries included. ... show more

100/100 I PROMISE . . . give this to any manly man and you’ll immediately hear the “Tim Allen Grunt”. More power. LOL Seriously, this is a PRICELESS tool. If you have any property at all . . . from a quarter acre up . . . you need this. It is super handy around the house to trim limbs, cut up fallen limbs, trim up trees . . . and if you camp! WOOOO! You can tear through some wood at the campsite. Just make sure you can recharge the batteries! I had one and gave it to the son-in-law ‘cause he loved it so much and had to replace it with this one. I recall using a full sized and gas powered chain saw when I was a teenager with the father of my girlfriend at the time. I remember the day, the general memory of the instance. I do not remember the actual cutting of the trees. I know I was excited and scared at the same time. This OWL-JAR Battery Powered Chainsaw is nowhere near the saw I recall using. It has an eight inch chain already assembled and a six inch chain on the side. Two batteries are great to have. It does get a bit hot after 8 or 10 minutes of use. You must supply the chain oil yourself-be sure to have that stuff before you use this saw. You'll need to fill the reserviour and will need to use the oil bulb every 40 - 60 seconds during use. Should have been included. I would suggest looking on Youtube for some research on how to use a buzz saw. You must be aware of 'kick-back', 'chain pinching' and 'chain stretch'. All of these things are easily addressed once you are aware of them. Great to have a set of gloves and a pair of goggles to protect your eyes. Overall very happy with having this saw being added to my tool chest. I'm So Buzzed! ... show more
