  • jansno x50
After riding the Jansno X50 for over 1,800 miles in the past year, I can confidently say it’s been a solid and enjoyable e-bike overall. Performance: This bike is fast. Whether I’m commuting, cruising around town, or tackling mild hills, the acceleration and top speed always impress me. It’s got more than enough power for everyday use, and I’ve never felt like it was underpowered in any situation. Range: One of the standout features is the long range. On a full charge, I consistently get solid mileage, even when riding in higher assist modes. It’s reliable enough to use for longer trips without constantly worrying about battery life. Durability & Maintenance: Over 1,800 miles, I’ve only gotten 2 flats, which is pretty reasonable considering how much I’ve used it. Other than that, the bike has held up well mechanically. Just the usual wear and tear like brake adjustments and keeping the chain lubricated. The tires could be more puncture-resistant, but that’s expected with any high-mileage riding. Comfort & Build: The ride is comfortable, and the build quality feels sturdy. Even after a year, there’s no noticeable frame fatigue or major issues. The suspension does a good job smoothing out rough patches in the road. Final Thoughts: The Jansno X50 has proven to be a fast, long-range, and reliable electric bike for my needs. If you’re looking for a performance-oriented e-bike that won’t break the bank and can stand up to regular use, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a shot. ... show more

  • Best ebike for the buck
I waited a while to do a review on this, because I wanted to give an honest opinion. I have had this ebike for a while and compared it to other more expensive ones friends have that were way more expensive. Even they were amazed at how well it runs, out doing some of their bikes with a good long battery life, speed, and build quality. It has been fun riding it just about every where. It was also super easy to put together. It came with all the tools needed to assemble. ... show more

  • More issues >>>> Danger!! - battery/charger overheating
Well, unfortunately I have to update this review once more - the seller did rectify the battery issue but the bike has since given us a number of other problems including full brake failure. Truthfully, the brakes have never been strong, however they’ve now catastrophically failed and this is after 300 dollars worth of service tj make sure they were properly set. This bike is fun but it would seem dangerous for multiple reasons. —- Updating this review a few weeks later, I was contacted by the seller and after explaining the issue, he remedied the issue with a replacement batter, charger and connection. I installed the replacement parts and the bike and charger seem to be working just fine. We'll keep a cautious eye on the battery and charge it in the visible place with people home at all times ... but I suspect this may have been a one off. --- Original review --- I would like to give this bike a great review, because it is generally quite a bit of fun. However, we have a major issue and a fire hazard with the battery and the charger. The unit becomes so hot while charging that it trips, the electrical breakers, and I am pretty certain that if it wouldn’t trip, it would melt, we have contacted the manufacture and are awaiting a response ... show more

  • Was loving the bike, charger doesn't work.
(I mention how the limiter is turned on and off) Couldn't complain, until I realized the battery wasn't charging. Light on the brick part inline on the charger doesn't light up, battery doesn't charge. Will have to buy one from a different seller and that's ~$50 down the drain. That being said, it's not a terrible build. It works, and with the limiter I could probably get like 13mph on flat land once it caught up which isn't long. Without, it's probably about 22-33mph depending on the charge and the incline, going up hills, even without the limiter is still like 10-15mph depending on the steepness of the incline. Assembly was fairly easy, no instructions but it's all kinda obvious, tho I did follow a YouTube video where a guy did an unboxing/test drive. There's bolts on the bottom side of the seat that hold it to the frame and they seem to come undone from normal riding, will have to get some lock washer things or soemthing. For the price tag, I personally feel the motor should be able to put out more (a comfortable 35 without maxing out would've been nice) but for the town I live in with an average of 25mph and the occasional 30, it's not the end of the world. I went through generic tutorials on how to remove the limiter via settings and magnets and stuff and from what I can see neither control the speed on this bike. Instead the motor controller (the aluminum box with wires under the seat) has a binary response for limiting it. There will be two wires coming from the controller that plug into each other, unplug that connection and the limiter is disabled. All in all besides the faulty charger and no response from the company for a replacement, I've put about 60miles on it and it's been consistent. ... show more

  • Pretty sweet bike but has some flaws.
This is a pretty sweet bike. I put around 500 miles on it so far. There were 2 things questionable with it though. The battery that came with it was a 15 ah battery which was different in the description and the brakes were absolutely terrible and squeaky. So I wired in another 35ah battery so now I have 50 ah which makes it go so much further rather than riding it around the block and it dying. I also put on hydraulic brakes. ... show more
