The media could not be loaded. First off - because this was my biggest concern based on other reviews; the color is not snow white, but it is still in the white range. Some reviews say it is yellow and it is definitely not yellow. But what people mean is that it is ivory. I have true white walls and beige blinds. You can see from the photo that the mantel is not as white as my walls, but not far off. Because I have some beiges in my room, the color works fine. It is whiter than the color of primed doors at Lowes (unpainted off-white primer). This was EASY to assemble. It arrives in two large packages. The electric fireplace itself was not hard to carry inside. It is the wood mantel package that is hard to carry because it is long enough to be akward to carry by yourself. I was able to drag it into my front door and then have someone assist me carrying it to the room it goes in (not heavy for two people to carry). There is slight gapping in the panels once assembled. But you don't really see it from the front or even the side. You'd have to be directly on the side of it or behind it to see the gaps. Concern #2 based on other reviews was the pre-drilled holes. Everything lined up great on mine. I just hand-tightened everything first (in each step of assembly) before tightening with the wrench. That way it was easy to slide the pieces slightly if needed. There is an overall power button then a separate power button for the heater and one for the flames. Once you turn on the main power button, the enclosed remote will be useable. You can also control everything from the fireplace itself. It is QUIET with no heat and there is a slight airy sound with the heat on. Just like any average HVAC heat vent sound. There is no "crackling" sound. Some people on here have purchased separate sound machines for this. I'm thinking of just putting a bluetooth speaker on top of my fireplace and using the youtube yule log video for a crackling sound (via the bluetooth speaker) if I really want it. Then I don't need to purchase another device and can control everything from my phone. Overall - great packaging, nothing damaged, took me 1.5 hour to assemble working slow paced, looks great, puts out heat immediately, doesn't clash with super white walls. I'm so happy I finally got this. Really makes the room cozy. Update 1 yr later: I have loved the ambiance this fireplace created all year. I turn it on in the morning when it's still dark out for a cozy soft light. I use it when I'm doing chores like laundry to make the room feel more relaxed and this time of year, festive. It works so great. The heater and fan still work perfectly. The remote battery is still going strong with me having used it almost every day (of course you can replace the battery when needed). Super happy with this purchase every day.

I love this fireplace. Large box for mantle. Heater was delivered separately. Easy to assemble. Remote control with multiple settings for flame and heat. Low noise and safe for smaller rooms. True white. Great for homes without a traditional fireplace. Great value for the money.

Shopped for a corner unit TV stand / Fireplace Heater for several weeks. Too many of them required lots of assembly and were too complicated. Found this one on Amazon and it looked like just what I needed for the room and the price point was in line with my needs. Glass doors and/or shelves were not a requirement for my needs, just looking for a nice corner unit with space for a TV with a stand on top and the heater box. This product was very easy to assemble, had very clear and simple instructions, and went together quickly compared to the other ones out there. I did it by myself and it took me about 2 hours from removing it from the box to using it. It took me another hour to get my TV reconnected and set-up the way I wanted but that was not part of the corner unit installation time frame. It did come in two boxes on different days but that wasn't a problem for me. The quality is good and sturdy for my 42" TV. I don't think a larger TV would fit in the space taken up when the corner unit it placed in the corner as the TV would probably hit the walls on each side. The white color is nice, and it fits in the corner desired for my TV. Have had it installed for over a week now and it's functioning as advertised. A remote for the heater was a requirement and it works great. I thank all of the previous reviews as that helped me make my decision on this product. I recommend this corner unit and I'm glad I finally made the decision to buy it and very happy with it so far.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: be prepared for your electric bill to double! My electric bill went from one $152 TO $390!!! I’m assuming I had it on the higher setting and since it’s not being used for heat purposes only for aesthetic. I will definitely make sure I put it on the lower setting, but I am in shock. I was not expecting a bill like that. I’ve lived in the same apartment for five years and the only change for the billing cycle that literally happened within seven days of me purchasing this fireplace. The last two bill cycles have been $392 versus $150. I still love this fireplace very very much. I’m just going to have to be very disciplined going forward . Original Review: All I can say is that I have been wanting a faux fireplace mantle for my apartment and I finally made the decision. I cannot be more pleased with the outcome and this piece has inspired so much more when you see that little corner of my apartment we now have elegant drapes that I also bought here on Amazon and a new art piece. The assembly took less than an hour. It was truly so easy to get this today. You will not be disappointed. Side note: I assembled this solo no help it can be done! Just take your time that is truly the hack.

The media could not be loaded. Love this fireplace! Unfortunately I could only give 4 stars because of the bubbling/crackling which is weird but seems to be getting bigger? Fireplace is bright white so I added peel and stick tiles which is a total game changer! Flame is beautiful and kicks off nice amount of heat. Quiet as well. Love the remote! For me n my office when I get chilly!
