Description

The J2000 rack system is a low profile system, lightweight, all aluminum design with a 3.25" height clearance for the 2014-newer Transit Connect . This aerodynamically designed rack system fastens onto existing factory mounting points. The A285 crossbars are made of reinforced aluminum with channels for additional accessories. The unique shape of the crossbars minimizes wind noise. The mounting bases have a footprint of 2.75" X 1.25". This system includes 6-4" side support; 2-ladder stopper; 2- hook & loop strap.

I bought and installed this on my 2019 ford transit connect cargo van. Installation took about an hour and was straightforward. No drilling was required on my van. I simply popped out the small black factory plugs in the roof and bolted it on through the existing holes. It looks nice and sleek on the van and is sturdy. Iโ€™ve carried a 20 ft ladder and a large 12 ft stepladder so far with no issues. Itโ€™s a sturdy attractive rack at a good price. ... show more

This ladder rack was easy to install and has proven to be durable. Maximum install time was about two hours mainly due to us trying to figure out how to take the van apart to install. The rack we purchased is gloss white which matches our van perfectly. Would definitely recommend!
