I purchased the IYING 6GB+64GB Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Car Stereo for my Jeep Wrangler Rubicon based on the many reviews of this product, I also went through the entire “Questions” section so that I could familiarize myself with any problems or solutions that other people might have had. I have installed several Head units through the years and have some medium level knowledge on how to install. Taking that into consideration, what I found to be very helpful was that the company being from China seems to always be on top of their product they answer lots of questions and the response time usually is about a day or so. My item came with all the parts carefully wrapped in bubble material all of the wiring and small pieces in bags that are labeled and two informational booklets on how to identify your unit and how it should be wired along with a booklet on basic operation. You just plug everything in if its just a basic install without camera’s. I have a reverse camera and I added a Front camera so I can attach my Jeep to my RV or fit into a tight place the wiring is straight forward and everything worked . The trim pieces that came with the unit look just like the OEM pieces that I took off to mount the larger screen and everything went together nicely. Take your time and run all of the wires through the dash and bundle the extra wires up so that you can snap the head unit in place. There are allot more wires and clips than before and they may get in the way of the AC holes when you snap everything in place. They even give you more clips if you have to remove the unit to get the fitment right. The bottom line is that this unit is very slick with a giant screen and might add that there are two screen protectors on my unit I know because I reached out to the seller and they sent me a picture to demonstrate that it had two. You can find many videos on how to set up this unit as it is Android based and the company gives you the admin password to define the settings you like.     • Save yourself a headache!
This product looks "great" buy that's about it. I love the features with this radio. However, here's my sweet honest truth. It's junk. It failed. I bought this March 2021 and I'm ready to drive a hammer thru this thing. First issue months ago was the screen cracked on its own!! I barely drive my jeep and hardly ever have anyone in it, so it wasn't a human that did it. Second, there's no real descriptive manual to help you troubleshoot things or just help answer some of your questions. The company did send me a new screen free of cost but the item is junk. My BIGGEST issue is that the steering controls do not work and out of no where at times the volume raises on its own to full blast. This has caused my kid and myself some painful hearing experiences. Because when this happens I have no use of my steering control so I almost have to brake immediately to view this screen to turn it off. The dash unit it comes with also is junk it doesn't fit right and I'm not messing with it so it fits. You spend money on something that's advertised it will fit then it should.     • Great unit, but complicated programming...
Once the unit is installed, the real fun begins. No instructions are included other than a "users guide" which is only marginally helpful. It contains images of programming screens, but no explanation about how the options work, so for a DYI installer like myself, there was a lot of trial and error. Support from the seller was responsive, but I did not request a programming guide... perhaps they have one! They provided a link to an installation video, and several images of the wiring harness and unit back panel, and cable pin descriptions provided really help if you have some stereo experience for more complicated installs. The steering wheel controls work properly as a plug and play replacement. The unit itself is awesome so far. To me, the sound is superior by far compared to the stock radio. The screen is responsive and easy to read. I installed a separate SeriusXM radio integrated through the head unit AUX ports for the times I'm out of cell phone range here in rural Nevada. I also installed wireless noise-cancelling headphones for long highway trips in my noisy Jeep. The android system is easy to use, and you can download apps from Google Play Store to turn this unit into a so much more than a Car Stereo. Pick your navigation app, or several and switch on the fly. Pick your android launcher and customize the user interface for your convenience. If you're looking for a big screen replacement for your cars sound system, this one should be on your comparison short list. ... show more

    • Good 10.1" touchscreen and upgrade for price - Jeep Wrangler!
I bought this unit and installed it myself on my 2011 Jeep Wrangler JKU - Rubicon. It was easy to install the aftermarket housing that replaces your original dash area over the speedometer and RPM gauges as well as the unit itself since it fits perfectly. I did connect the wires but the radio signal does not work and the Navigation didn't work as well. I took it to a professional Car Audio place and they connected everything correctly. Unfortunately the radio still does not work and they said this is common with aftermarket products, especially Chinese products with the original wires that come installed in the vehicles. The microphone included picks up engine noise VERY easily so you will need to move the microphone very close to your head, wherever that will be located in your specific vehicle. The back up camera is decent but you will probably want to upgrade down the line as it is not high quality... but it does the trick for daytime reversing. I would give this an overall 4 to 4.5 stars just due to the unit being HALF the cost of the others I have researched and has performed very well. The touchscreen is very responsive and fast. I also had the Car Audio guys hook and play with the car audio which is now connected to the original audio equipment (premium Infinity) and it sounds AMAZING!!! The connections for external equipment works well but I do wish there was an HDMI input but I'm sure an adapter will take care of this. Overall... very happy with the unit but I do wish it came with a users manual. I have lot's of questions and after installing it late in 2021, still figuring this thing out but very capable. That's my two cents but so far... so GOOD! ... show more

Couldn’t be happier on day-one! The wiring is straightforward. As many have commented..the installation instructions are a bit lacking. Luckily it’s mostly pre-wired and all I had to plug in was the GPS antenna, radio antenna, mic. The more challenging part is putting the puzzle together. For the 2016 flavor you replace a one-piece dash with three separate pieces. I found it easiest, once I routed the mic wire and the GPS wire, to install the left-most dash piece (I routed the mic up the A-pillar to the MLC-6 switch pod above rear view mirror) first. Work left to right to ensure the tabs, and pressure tabs, are in the right place. Failure to do so could leave a slight gap on far left side. Once I repositioned properly…looks 100% stick. Then I did the top tray. You’ll notice that this is BulletPoint JK mount friendly…I transferred the entire mounting system without any issue. Last came the center piece with the head unit. I kind of angled in the top, so it would tab-match with positioning tabs on the tray. Carefully stow all the wiring then slowly press the tabs and pressure tabs into place. Each piece has positioning tabs and slots, and I can confirm they do line up…it’s just a puzzle, take your time to position, or dry fit (don’t push tabs in all the way)…I’m very impressed. I have wireless CarPlay, hands free phone, giant Google maps….love it. Now that the return window is closed and I’ve had it a while…STAY AWAY!!!! CarLink randomly disconnects and will NOT reconnect without a reset. When it disconnects and locks up….GPS freezes. I could be stopped and it says I’m going whatever speed I was going when it locked up. According to the seller….that can’t happen…even after I sent them pictures of the speed (65MPH) and the Jeep parked. The buttons on left side randomly fail to react. Sitting at a stoplight….volume jumps without input or warning. No matter how many times I’ve tried to convince the seller that maybe this unit has issues….nothing. When I get back to Florida I’m ripping this piece of crap out of my Jeep and tossing it in the trash. Don’t learn a $600 lesson like me….this is junk! ... show more

    • Subwoofer and rear speakers stopped working after a few months
Bought this unit in 2/2025 for my 2011 jeep jku. It worked well for a few months but now the rear speakers and subwoofer have little sounds. Maybe the canbus is defective? Overall the unit looks great and android is very response but there are some quirky things about the unit.

    • Worth the money, support resolved problems
Overall the device is satisfying, it was not hard to install and it looks nice. I had a problem with the unit restarting randomly while being used, the issue was not caused by software and it took me a while before I excluded all the obvious reasons like overheating or settings. The support was very fast to respond to emails and trying to diagnose the problem, they sent me a replacement device that solved the problems. I mostly use it with a Google Fi sim card, listening to Spotify and navigating with Google Maps, it's convenient that Google Play Store is available. I don't use car play, it works but I don't need prefer it the native experience. No issues with performance (by Android standards). ... show more

    • Do not buy. Very problematic
Only good thing about this radio is that it looks nice. I bought it last year in January and have had issues with it ever since. A lot of the time the radio won’t even turn on. The sound never works. Almost every time I drive somewhere I have to restart my engine on my jeep to reset the radio to either get the screen working or the sound to turn on. When you connect through bluetooth, it will not disconnect even if you turn off bluetooth on your phone, and disconnect through the radio. I have to restart my phone just for it to disconnect and sometimes that doesn’t even work. On very rare occasions when I’m driving the radio will cut out and a high pitch noise will sound until I restart my engine. Very disappointed considering I spent $600 while there are similar ones for half that. However, it was very easy to install and fits like OEM finish. ... show more
