    • Display in japanese, but super easy to install and works great since.

This water softener was super easy to install. For us, we did have to extend our water lines a little and install the correct connectors, but this is something that would be easy for a handyman, savvy diyer, or plumber to do. Once installed, setup was fairly easy, with the only issue being that the display was in japanese, and we couldn't figure out how to switch it to english. Thankfully, we were able to use a translate app to translate the display while we worked. Nothing in the instructions (which were in english) or manufacturer's web page indicated how we would be able to change the language, but they do show pictures of the display in english, so it must be possible somehow. Fortunately, once it is set up, there is little need to change the settings. Overall, we're happy with it, just wish we could get the display in english. ... show more
