Would absolutely recommend getting one with your m4 Mac Mini Pro. Plenty of connections for all your needs, allows to run a second monitor (which is awesome), and has the card reader in it that I require as well. Love it!!! Great cost, designed nicely, and easy to use.

I got this for my mother In Law and it works as intended. Extra ports are always a plus. Plus 8 TB is massive insurance for memory storage. The quality of the housing mimics the Mac's mini. I would recommend to anyone that's looking for extra ports and memory storage. A must buy!

Seems to work well and do as described. Especially considering the price point. It is mostly plastic and I'm not crazy about the way the Mac Mini just sits on top rather than having any shoulders or edging to help maintain the Mini on the top. Otherwise, the only complaint is the customer support has been very slow in responding to a question about whether the Samsung external hard drive will fit and work in the space provided for an 1-8 TB drive.

A good selection of ports plus a card reader. Made out of metal (cast aluminum?) and performs pretty well as long as you don't install a NVME SSD and power it. I started off doing this and it got so hot that I could barely touch it or the Mac Mini that was sat on it. Removed the SSD and power and it's working fine now.

so far so good.. nice form factor - gives mini better air flow, easier access to power button, and excellent way to have external drive. The only thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't hold the Mac mini secure the Mac mini can kind of slide around or spin around on the top. I would definitely purchase this again
