    • Non-Staining, Non-Oily Ear Cleaner!
I have a 10 year old dog on a long-term antifungal medication because he’s never NOT had an ear infection. We clean ears all the time. So much so, that not only have all 3 of my dogs learned the word “ears”, but he has been trained (or should I say trained me) to do it the exact same way every time. Right ear first is important to him for some reason. Which is all to say that we’ve tried every ear product out there over the years. The pros: This product is very thin, more watery than usual. Which means it doesn’t leave any oily residue or staining on his white coat. It smells pleasantly of green tea. Slightly astringent, but not strongly. It comes in a large enough bottle that you can use it regularly. (I hate those tiny bottles that you have to buy in 3s and 4s!) The cons: My dog isn’t a fan. At all. Not that he loves getting ear drops, but he actively hates this one. I suspect the green tea is a little too astringent for his sensitive ears. (He’s big, but very delicate, lol). Or maybe it’s the smell. Either way, same end result - he’s hiding from the bottle. Because this product is thinner, it is very easily shaken out and sprayed all over when they shake their heads. Conclusion: This product does the job. Personally, I think it’s the perfect ear cleaner. However, my dog has given it a hard no. If your dog isn’t the total princess that mine is, though, I highly recommend! ... show more

    • It is really cleaning the dogs and cats ears and the animals don't really complain
So far and I feel it will continue to actually love this ear flush solution. So far, I have been using it for over about 2 months now on a weekly basis for both my dogs. They do not have any ear issues for me to judge this product by, but I can tell you. They both let me apply the solution into the ear. once I drop a few drops into the ear I gently rub the base of the ear to help work it into the ear and get to any yuck that may be hiding there. My dogs never really like me bathing or applying any type of products to them. They both consider it torture, but they have quickly learned that when I do this I massage the ear to work it in and they absolutely love that. Of course, as soon as I quick massaging, they both shake their heads. They only seem to do this once or twice and I usually hold a towel around them to keep me from getting splashed by its leftovers of yuck that may come out. I notice that after the 2nd week, the ear canals actually do look cleaner than I thought they normally were. it was very easy to use, especially after you get your pet used to it. My cat always fights the product application, but gives up real quickly with that ear massage given after applying the product. I went to my sisters the other day and they have 3 dogs. Since I knew I was going ahead of time, I brought it with me. She is now purchasing her own bottle and using it. She has thanked me twice. i told her that I am not sure if she would want to use this on her pet chickens. Yes, she is one of those people that buys breeds of chickens to raise and sell them, but winds up falling in love with every one of them. Anyway, back to the product at hand. I and I believe the dogs and cat are all better off with this product in their lives. It is basically a Friday night routine. I don't really notice a scent from the animals ears after application, but again I did not notice any odors prior. I am treating it as preventative steps and will continue supporting this product. Easy to use squeeze bottle that had helped me keep my girls ears clean and helps the smell! I wouldn’t say it’s very thick liquid but the bottle has lasted me quite a while and I use it pretty often so the value for your money is pretty good too. I have noticed it helped with her skin irritating her around the inside of her ears and she doesn’t rub them on the floor anymore. Overall will buy more in the future! ... show more
