Pattern Name: Water Filtration System

Features

  • Whole house water filter that protect your family and household appliance from iron, manganese and more: Our 3rd stage iron water filter (FM25B) is specially designed for iron and manganese removal, reducing iron (MAX 3.0 ppm) and manganese (MAX 1.0 ppm). The water filter lasts up to 3 times longer than greensand due to the catalytic media not being consumed in the process. This whole house water filter system also removes sediment, chlorine, rust, herbicides, industrial solvents, and more.
  • DIY installation and maintenance - refer to our manual and our helpful YouTube videos for easy DIY installation. With 1 in. NPT inlet / outlet and 20 in. x 4.5 in. water filter cartridges, WGB32BM whole home water filter system has minimum impact on water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires minimum maintenance.
  • Top-notch quality - the first stage high capacity polypropylene sediment filter achieves filtration down to 5 microns. The second stage carbon block filter is made of high quality coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and filter life. Both water filters are tested by an independent third-party to meet NSF/ANSI standards. Both water filters have a capacity of 100,000 Gal. of water, enough to supply a family of four with clean water for a full year.

We stand behind our products and if you encounter any problems with any of our products please reach out to us immediately. We are happy to help!
  • Please note - this whole house water filter is installed at the main water supply line in order to treat all the water in your home; unlike an RO system, this whole house water filtration system will NOT reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and instead keeps healthy minerals in your water; if you are interested in a filter that removes TDS consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. The cartridges are individually wrapped to ensure freshness. Please unwrap the cartridges before use.

  • Amazing Customer Service!
Style: Iron & Manganese Removal Pattern Name: Water Filtration System
I have purchased from iSpring before. In my last house I had to install one because of the high levels of chlorine. At that house, I installed the two stage system.I have a certified palate for evaluating coffee, and during the pandemic I was working from home. I needed a whole house water filtration system, and I chose iSpring because their offices were located in Georgia, where I lived. I figured if anything was wrong, I could just call them up. Well, nothing ever went wrong. Then I moved, and in that new house the chlorine level was so high, it was bleaching my sink and burning our skin. I decided to purchase the 3 stage water filtration system from iSpring. After an easy install, the water tasted ok for a day or so, but I noticed that water that sat in a cup would smell. I reached out iSpring to see what was going on. I called Friday afternoon, Michelle at iSpring returned my call Monday. She quickly identified that I had purchased the wrong filtration setup. I had bought the three stage that came with an Iron/Manganese filter, but I needed a second carbon filter instead. Michelle asked me to email my address and proof of purchase, and she would send me replacement filters, free of charge, to make sure that was the problem. Michelle at iSpring overnighted the filters, because I received them the next morning! I have never had such amazing customer service! I will recommend iSpring to everyone. When there are a lot of choices out there for products, having a company that cares that much about their customers is the only thing I need to know. More companies should pay attention to how iSpring does it. It was amazing to buy from an American company with an office you could call up to talk to a live person. Customer focused not profit focused is the way to go, and iSpring nails it! 100/100 would recommend. Thank you Michelle! ... show more

  • Excellent system and customer service
Style: Iron & Manganese Removal Pattern Name: Water Filtration System
I bought the three stage whole house filter system in hopes of cleaning our well water that has recently changed to having heavy iron with horrible yellowing, stinky, foul tasting water. It continually stains anything it comes into contact with, appliances, toilets, sinks, showers, anything I wash in the washing machine, ruining many clothing and household items. The instant we turned the water back on after the new filter system installation, it was day and night difference, back to the beautiful water we have always had! I did however have an issue with a small leak between the filter joints and spoke with Nick in customer service and he sent out a new part to replace the one that was leaking and an additional filter set as I would have to have the Plummer back out for additional work. Unfortunately, after less than two weeks my water was already turning a light yellow and tasting poorly again. I spoke with Michelle and then Nick again and realized the iron is so heavy at times, that I would need to change the filter far more often than normal because of the incredibly heavy iron content that sporadically flows through the well. Nick very kindly offered to send me a new set of filters and sent me additional information for a more permanent solution for an additional filter to be added to the current system that will take care of this issue. All of the customer service technicians are very knowledgeable and ready to assist with any issue and want to make whatever is going on with the system right. I’m so grateful for all of their assistance and my new system for clean water! ... show more

  • Immediate results: softer hair and skin... also installation notes
Style: Iron & Manganese Removal Pattern Name: Water Filtration System
Update: July 21, 2023... It's been a couple of years with the system now and it still performs well. I've replaced the filters twice and haven't had any issues with taste, water pressure, or leaks. We've also noticed that the showers don't have hard water deposit build up. The three filters we use are: 1) iSpring FP25B High Capacity 20” x 4.5” Water Replacement Cartridge Fine Sediment Filter, 5 Micron, 1 Piece, White for $24.00 2) iSpring FM25B Iron Manganese Reducing Whole House Water Filter Replacement, High Capacity 4.5" x 20" for $75.84 3) iSpring FC25B Whole House Water Filter Replacement Cartridge, CTO Carbon Block, 20” x 4.5” for $40.70 Total filter replacement for 1-year: $140.54 not including tax. I've included two photos of the fine sediment cartridge during replacement after 1-year of use and was impressed but also shocked to see the amount of sediment in public drinking water. I used a paper towel to clean the bottom of the blue cylinder, which you can see in the photo. Still recommend this system 10/10. -- Original review: January 15, 2021 My mother has eczema and has been in need of a water filter / conditioning system for some time. Note that this system is not a water softener in the traditional sense. While I do use the magnetic field from the iSpring add on, and it seems to be helping, it’s not the same as a salt water softener system. Which is great as I prefer it that way. Out of all the systems I researched this is the one that best fit my mom’s needs. While a salt water softener system is great for bathing, I don’t consider salt water softeners healthy in the long-run when trying to manage sodium intake. Happy to report in just the first few days she says her hair and skin feel softer and her skin doesn’t irritate as it usually does after a shower or bath. Let’s see how the system holds up under her water usage in 6-12 months. While these results are great, it’s still preliminary. That being said I felt it would be helpful to share my installation notes should anyone else do a DIY (do it yourself) installation. Before diving in I wanted to access the difficulty level of an install so I called a plumber for an on-site quote. He quoted me a range of $500 - $700 for a few hours of labor and parts. He also suggested installing it close to the main water inlet for the home. The other alternative was close to the water heater. Also good to note that the iSpring system only comes with the filters, filter housing, and mounting bracket. No other plumbing fittings are included. The water inlets to the iSpring are 1-inch in diameter, and being that the house runs 3/4 copper pipe I decided to stay with 3/4 copper. I did consider PEX piping, yet copper seemed to be the better fit. I originally wanted to use Nibco press-fit copper fittings, yet they’re not available in my area. So, the majority of the connections are with Sharkbite. However, the 1-inch to 3/4 adapter needed to be soldered, so unless you’re comfortable with soldering be advised. If you prefer not to solder then use a 1-in x 3/4-in dia Threaded Male Adapter Bushing Fitting. I used 3/4 L copper pipe and cut to length. Take note that copper pipe is measured in thickness by M, L, and K. M is the thinnest and not likely to last as long when compared with L and K. K is the thicker of the three and most durable over time. L type pipe is best suited for indoor water lines Several things I feel worth sharing that I learned in the process: When cutting copper pipe make sure to deburr the inside of the pipe or this can cause unwanted water turbulence which can cause pinhole leaks in the pipe overtime. Also, just because the pipe is new it still needs to be cleaned with light grit sandpaper or emory cloth on the ends for the Sharkbite fittings not to leak. And careful not to get any dirt inside the Sharkbite fittings as this can render them less effective as the debris can clog the o-rings inside and cause a leak. Plumbing parts purchased at Lowes for installation: Two 1-in x 3/4 adapter… $3.59 each x 2 = $7.18 Two Sharkbite Brass 3/4-in Push-to-Connect Ball Valve… $21.98 each x 2 = $43.96 Nine Sharkbite 3/4 90-degree elbow push fittings… $10.28 each x 9 = $92.52 One BernzOmatic Torch Kit for soldering the two 1-in x 3/4 copper pipe adapters… $22.48 One 3/4 x 5 foot type L copper pipe… $16.18 One copper tube cutter for tight places… $9.98 Total parts cost: $192.30 (not including sales tax) What I’d include and still might now that the system is installed and working is a pressure relief value. Rather than have to spray water all over the place when I go to replace the filters, I’d should have installed a pressure value similar to what is found on many water heaters. That way I can release the pressure into a bucket rather than have it spray all over the place. All in all I learned a lot and hope that my experience can help others. So far the system is great! 10/10 would recommend. ... show more
