Description

Provides an easy way to visually inspect the sediment filter. You will know it is time for a filter change before a problem occurs. Push-to-connect fittings and tubings simplify the installation process and prevent leaking. The O-rings can seal the system without any leakage. We know that a high percentage of our customers prefer a DIY installation. We provide the resources for successful installation and maintenance. If you have any questions about the installation, replacement filters, etc., please feel free to contact our expert team. The system consists of 5 different stages, each one designed to remove contaminants and improve water quality: 3 Pre-filters: PP sediment filter. GAC Carbon filter. Carbon block filter. They remove large contaminants and protect the RO membrane from chemicals like chlorine and chloramines. The heart of the system is the Reverse Osmosis (RO) filter that removes contaminants down to 0.0001 microns. Fine GAC final filter provides final polishing before the purified water is delivered. What contaminants can be removed? The RCC7 is designed to deliver water that is great-tasting, clean, pure, and safe for drinking. Employing a 5-stage filtration process, it effectively eliminates over 1,000 harmful contaminants. Why isn't the TDS zero after filtration? 1. If the source water's TDS is too high, achieving low TDS might be challenging. 2. Prolonged usage without changing filters can lead to an increase in TDS levels. What are the replacement filters for the system? 1-stage: FP15, 2-stage: FG15, 3-stage: FC15, 4-stage: MC7, 5-stage: FT15 Alternatively, you can opt for the convenient filter pack available. Can the filtration system handle well water? No. This RCC7 is designed for Municipal Tap Water. For well water usage, it's crucial to ensure that the feed water has undergone point-of-entry water filtration systems. iSpring offers systems tailored for whole house water solutions. • Great product at a fair price. Great product at a fair price.
Color: Brushed Nickel Faucet Style: 5-Stage
My iSpring Reverse Osmosis system has provided me with clean, refreshing water without having to buy bottled water. The installation was straight forward and easy. The instructions were written with common sense and the color coded tubing allowed for error free proper connections. A minor problem occurred a few weeks after the installation, but a solution was quickly diagnosed by iSpring's knowledgeable technician, Sean. Sean noted that a spike in water pressure was the probable cause and that he would send me the parts to fix the issue. Sean's diagnosis was correct and once again the system is working perfectly. ... show more

  • Great Customer Service and Product
Color: Brushed Nickel Faucet Style: 5-Stage
The ispring rcc7 is an excellent system, as evidenced by its successful installation in a few other family member's residence. Recently, our installers inadvertently omitted the reverse osmosis filter during a setup. This marked my initial contact with iSpring regarding a technical issue, and fortunately, Nick provided exceptional assistance. He efficiently diagnosed the motor sound as being indicative of a missing filter. Nick dedicated significant time to promptly resolve the issue and accurately identify the correct filter. The team demonstrated remarkable responsiveness throughout this process. Size: standard Connection : Easy but definitely read the manual and watch the video. Water quality : great and their data on the system is online. No chlorine taste and removal of other water impurities. Ordor: removed so no chlorine smell from our water. I have had the system at my parents home too and it's been going strong for the past 4 years just changing filters. I think the system will be very durable. ... show more

  • Good price, quick delivery, simple installation, no leakage, quality RO water, prompt tech support.
Color: Brushed Nickel Faucet Style: 5-Stage
I used the Costco Blue H2O RO system for many years and now that the manufacturer is no longer in business so I must look for a new system on Amazon. After carefully reviewing different system, I decided to go with the ISpring RCC7. It was the right decision. The system arrive after 2 days. The instructions to install the system was clear. I was able to complete the installation about 1 hour and the system worked beautifully producing good quality and great quantity of RO water. No leakage after installation. There was helpful support from Nick of technical and customer support team. I actually bought 1 system for myself in April 10, 2026 for my house in Norwalk, CA. I liked it so much that when I visited my daughter's house in June 3, 2026, I bought and installed one more system for her. I highly recommend the ISpring RCC7 RO system on Amazon.com due to reasonable price, quick delivery, moderately quick installation, no leakage, high quality and quantity RO water, and prompt and friedly technical support. ... show more

I love this water filtration system, not only does the water taste great but I can feel confident that me and my family are getting clean water in our bodies. Also, it was not very hard to install at all. I did it myself because my husband and sons were all at work and I didn't want to wait for them. I talked to customer service to set up an extended warranty and Robert was very helpful was setting that up. It took about 2 seconds to set it up and was super simple, Thank you Robert! ... show more

  • So Far (5 Days) A Great Purchase
Color: Brushed Nickel Faucet Style: 5-Stage
I should have bought this to start with. For 30 years I had been buying R/O units and parts from another company that specializes in water filters. When my old system developed another age-related leak in the cartridge holder I decided to replace the whole unit. I saw this item on Amazon but went ahead with my old company. It was a nice unit but it had a couple of minor leaks that I had to fix while installing it. Five months later it had a major leak all night all over the kitchen and family room. So I came back to Amazon and iSpring and so far this has been a great unit. It came well-packed with plenty of spare parts and a big instruction book (it could use some better editing.) It even had a leak shutoff unit that I hadn't noticed in the description - it's really nice. The unit was easy to install, no leaks and I'll update this review if anything happens in the next few months. One note - unlike other systems that flush the membrane and everything else when new cartridges are put in, this one instructs you to disconnect the hose to the r/o membrane and flush the 3 buckets of water and then reconnect. It's a great idea but the hose is too short to reach into a bucket. I'm going to replace this hose with a long hose with a couple of loops in it so I'll have plenty of hose when I replace the cartridges next year. ... show more

  • Excellent Product - Highly Recommended - Easy Install Excellent Product - Highly Recommended - Easy Install
Color: Brushed Nickel Faucet Style: 5-Stage
This product consists of a lot of components, all of which appear to be very well designed and manufactured. Upon arrival, just a couple of days after ordering, the package looked large and intimidating. Indeed everything was very well packaged and everything made sense. I have been operating our drinking and icemaking water for years off of a simple activated charcoal filter with satisfactory results. However, I was motivated to take the water quality to a higher level and decided on this one after lots of research. The installation went very smoothly and I was impressed with how compact the system ended up, once assembled. I was able to install it in a basement cabinet where one of the 2 drinking water faucets is located. I was able to install the system into an existing network without cutting any plumbing. If there were 1 or 2 things I could suggest improvement on, it would be: 1) a stiffer mounting bracket, either with thicker metal or stiffening gussets so it would be more rock solid (a rock solid design overall deserves a rock solid mounting bracket), and 2) a higher quality main water supply valve ... the plastic valve works, but feels prone to breakage upon repeated use, when changing filter and membrane components in the future. Thanks to Julius for responding to my Warranty registration and also encouraging me to write this review. The company appears to be very serious about product excellence and product support. I'm looking forward to many years of excellent product performance. ... show more

  • It was time to upgrade our simple 2-stage water filtration system! It was time to upgrade our simple 2-stage water filtration system!
Color: Brushed Nickel Faucet Style: 5-Stage
The old Sears 2-stage carbon water filter wasn't good enough. It made the water taste better, but didn't remove the unwanted dissolved solids. We were still buying bottled water, which taste better. It was time to move up to a RO - reverse osmosis water filtration system! ► NOTICE - This product review was originally published on April 17, 2017, but it disappeared so I resubmitted it! The pros: + I happened across a killer deal of $142.78 with free Amazon shipping when I bought this in 2016! + Pretty good customer product reviews. + Excellent customer technical support! My questions were quickly answered via e-mail. + Push together - quick connect fitting with 4-color tubing make the installation very easy! + Advertised - eliminates the need to transport and dispose of bottled water. + Advertised - filters 1,000+ water pollutants including common adversaries chlorine and fluoride. + Advertised - thin-film composite semi-permeable RO membrane filters down to 0.0001 micron (a human hair is approximately 50 microns). + Advertised - the RCC7 has a 75 gallons per day rating. + Advertised - DIY filter installation with written instructions, video & technical support assistance. Fits under sink cabinets. + Advertised - product dimensions - 14.5 x 5.2 x 17.5 inches. + Advertised - item weight - 25 pounds. + Advertised - Water Quality Association (WQA) Gold Seal Certified. + Advertised - 1 year money-back guarantee. + Advertised - lifetime support from iSpring in Alpharetta, GA at (678) 261-7611. The cons: - I needed longer plastic tubing for our installation. The provided 10' lengths were too short. ◄ iSpring will provide longer tubing. - From the installation manual: Water pressure to the unit is no less than 40 psi. If it's below 40 psi, you will need to add a booster pump. If the water pressure is greater than 80 psi, you will need to install a pressure regulator. Our water pressure was above 80 psi, so this added to the system cost. - We didn't care for the provided brushed nickel finished faucet didn't match our fixtures. ◄ iSpring will work with you to provide a faucet that fits your installation. - Water is wasted to produce purified water. The ratio of brine - waste water to RO purified water is 2:1 to 3:1. Meaning 2 to 3 gallons of water is wasted to produce 1 gallon of purified water. ◄ For those that are concerned about wasted water. Also see my waste water recycling notes below. - Advertised - origin, China. ◄ for those that prefer to buy products made in the USA. Our installation: ▪ Our previous Sears filtration system was installed in the garage, so that was the logical place to install this filter system upgrade. This is next to the water heater ► cold water source & next to the washing machine ► a place to run the brine -waste water line. ▪ The purified water storage tank was positioned on its side in our installation, so it would fit on a storage shelf. ▪ I opted to purchase an inexpensive plastic tubing cutter, a PneumaticPlus TC nylon PVC PU plastic tube & hose cutter. Not required, but it cuts the tubing perfectly making the installation proceed faster. Here's the Amazon link: PneumaticPlus TC Nylon PVC PU Plastic Tube & Hose Cutter Cut Up To 3/4" OD (Drip Tubing Cutter) (1) ▪ I also purchased a TSPITOOL quick connect release tool, which is also not required, but does make releasing a connector much easier. In addition, it will set the lock in preparation for the locking clips. Here's the Amazon link: Quick Connect Tubing Release Tools For 1/4" or 3/8" Connectors (TSPITOOL) ▪ It seemed like a waste to toss the old Sears 2-stage filter housing, so I decided to retain it with different filters... sediment prefilters. Stage 1 is 20 micron & stage 2 is 10 micron, both sediment filters. The output of this 2-stage filter connects to iSpring RO - reverse osmosis stage 1, 5 micron sediment filter. ▪ To keep an eye on the system water pressure, I installed a water pressure gauge. This is VERY handy, as the reading drops when purified water is being produced & levels off as the purified water tank is full. After a few cycles, you have the normal readings. ▪ After the water filtration system had been in operation awhile, I started to wonder when the brine - waste water was flowing. My concern was a failed ASOV - automatic shutoff valve failure which could allow constant waste water flow. To provide a visual indication of brine - waste water flow, I installed a Rotameter LZM-15 flow meter. See my attached pictures. This flow meter won't work as it comes, but with a simple modification (see my flow meter product review for details), it will provide a visual indication of when brine - waste water is flowing. Here's the Amazon link: Uxcell a11120300ux0019 1/2" Female Thread 0.2-2.0 GPM 1-7 LPM Water Liquid Inline Flowmeter Rotameter LZM-15 ▪ We can redirect the RO brine - waste water into a recovery container so this perfectly good water can be recycled. During the summer the RO brine - waste water is used to water our raised bed vegetable garden & flower beds. During the winter we use the RO brine - waste water in the washing machine wash cycle. Closing remarks: ▪ Since this RO - reverse osmosis water filtration system was installed, there has been no need to buy distilled or bottled drinking water. ▪ The flow rate from our kitchen mounted faucet, about 15 feet away from the filtration system, is 0.5 gallons (1/2 gallon) per minute. ▪ System startup, first TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) reading: tap - city water = 100 to 98 ppm ► RO - reverse osmosis water = 3 to 4 ppm ▪ You will have to replace the filtration system filters in about a year... the RO membrane can last a 2 to 3 years (depending on the quality of your water source), so it's wise to start shopping around for replacement filters. These can be found reasonably priced, if you don't need them right away & can shop around. I have enough filters on hand for 2+ years. :) ► Update - June 7, 2017 ▪ The RO - reverse osmosis water filtration system has been working perfectly! Since we installed this water filtration, there been no need to purchase bottled water. ▪ On my recent TDS - total dissolved solids test. Tap water = 110 ppm & the RO water = 9 ppm. ▪ The city water... tap water TDS, shown above, is 110 ppm. The RO brine - waste water TDS is about 20 ppm higher. ▪ It's summer, so we're recycling the RO brine - waste water in the raised bed vegetable garden & to water the flower beds. ▪ We have to admit the amount of brine - waste water was a bit shocking, when we started saving it, but that is the nature of the RO - reverse osmosis water filtration system. 2:1 to 3:1... meaning, amount of brine - waste water >to> purified water produced. This isn't too bad if you can recycle the waste water! ▪ The city we live in calculates our sewer billing on the amount of water we use, so it makes sense to recycle the RO brine - waste water! ► Update - October 24, 2019 ▪ The system has been working perfectly, still on the original filter! The TSD has gone up slightly & the brine -waste water is running 3:1 or more, so the system filter replacement is on our to do list! ▪ I added a new picture of our six 5 gallon black buckets we use to save our brine - waste water to be recycled. ... show more

  • Well built system that does its job but here's how to improve on it Well built system that does its job but here's how to improve on it
Color: Brushed Nickel Faucet Style: 5-Stage
First, this came quickly, extremely well packaged (couldn't break something if you wanted to) and mostly quality components. The only "iffy" part is the plastic supply valve as I've not had good luck attaching plastic to a metal supply. Instead of contacting Ispring like I should have, assumed they didn't make a metal version and ordered one from one of their competitors. After I told Ispring I had done this, they let me know they could have provided the same valve and would still do so under warranty. It's entirely not their fault and the plastic valve probably would have worked just fine but I obsess about plumbing leaks. Our water in Tucson, AZ is HARD - 400+ PPM. If you try and use it in something like a coffee maker, it will destroy it in a matter of months. I had been carting water from the local vending machine but we just redid our kitchen so it was time for an RO system. It has brought the TDS down to a consistent 13-14 PPM and the flavor of the water is fine (much better than chlorine and a ton of minerals ever tasted). The faucet provided is nice, matches our new stainless steel commercial kitchen faucet. It do wish there was a different connection to this metal faucet rather than the John Guest quick connect fitting but it's not leaking and the plumber who helped install this said it's the same fitting on his at home and every one he ever installs so probably worried over nothing. Okay, so how to improve. All RO systems need the "main" filters replaced every 6-12 months and when changing them, you must flush the system for 4-5 minutes before allowing any water to flow through the RO membrane filter. As the system comes, it requires disconnecting the supply to the membrane filter and flushing through it into a bucket until the water runs clear. There are two problems with this method of flushing. First, it's always been recommended to me that when you remove a line from these quick connect fittings, that you trim it back past where the little metal teeth gripped it. Supposedly not doing so it one of the biggest causes of minor leaks. Well, you would only change filters so many times before the line to the membrane filter was too short to reconnect and you're adding more tubing. The second problem is that frankly, it's a pain in the neck to unhook that line and then sit there with a bucket trying to determine if the water has cleared yet. Both of these problems would be easily solved by a Y valve where the supply line fed into the single side of the Y and then you had two valves on the V portion. Your could then turn off the supply to the membrane, turn on the supply to a flush line that is now long enough to reach the kitchen sink. No disconnecting and reconnecting lines in an awkward position under the sink. Unfortunately, no one makes such a Y fitting so I had to get much more complicated and fabricate my own system. I used a 1 into 2 splitter, attached a cutoff valve to each side coming off the splitter, added more tubing to one side and can now control where the water goes. The problem with this is that if creates too many more potential leak points . If you look at the picture, you'll see the configuration I had to come up with. The red line coming from the back of the filters used to feed the membrane filter and was the one you disconnect during install and then during any filter changes. Now it feeds the splitter, the splitter feeds the valves and the valves feed either the flush hose or the membrane hose. I shared this with Ispring and they said they would have their product development people look at it. Problem is, no one makes that valve and so creating it from scratch may be bit expensive and you'd need some patent permissions to do so (I'm assuming on that part). One last idea. Our kitchen configuration, unfortunately, has some dead space where cabinets make an angle. It's unusable space, not accessible in any way. So, I cut out a square in the side of the cabinet and installed the tank in that dead space. I can easily get to it but don't have it taking up space directly under the sink (see photo). So, solid product from what appears to be a very solid company. If you think you need something they didn't provide, don't hesitate to ask - they are very accommodating! ... show more
