I’ve been using Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops for years, and nothing else compares. As someone with fair skin, I’ve tested every tanning product under the sun (literally), and these are hands down the most foolproof. ✅ My Method (Take Notes): I use the Medium shade (the green one) for a natural, glowy tan that doesn’t scream spray tan fail. I layer about 16 drops per section—torso, arms, chest, etc.—mixed into a lightweight lotion like Aveeno or Nivea Cream. Pro tip: I combine everything in a small glass bowl (about 10–16 pumps of lotion plus 14–16 drops) and mix it well before applying. This keeps streaks and patchiness out of the equation. ✅ For Fast Results: If you want to accelerate the process (careful—this is advanced practice), go for the Dark shade (the purple one). Just don’t get too carried away—over 25 drops per section, and you may tiptoe into Oompa Loompa territory. I save Dark for legs, torso, and chest and stick to Medium for arms, face, and sensitive areas so it all blends naturally. ✅ Performance: • Transparent liquid: zero transfer on sheets or clothes • No weird DHA smell (a miracle) • You’ll notice your skin gradually deepen to a bronzy brown before any orange tones appear—this is the melanin activation working as designed Bottom line: this is the only self-tanner I trust. If you’re fair-skinned and tired of trial and error, get these drops. Just remember—respect the drop count. You can always layer more, but you can’t un-tan.

I have been on a self tan journey since March and after issuing MANY products, even the more popular ones, this has been the BEST tan consistently. It lasts a solid week and can easily be scrubbed off at the end of the week so you can apply a solid layer. HOWEVER: the consistency and quality of your LOTION makes the biggest difference in your tan quality. If you are using a thinner lotion that does not absorb into your skin as well your tan WILL NOT LAST more than 3 days before you see it getting patchy. Use a THICK lotion, I use gold bond cocoa butter glow and it allows my tan to last the entire week!

Big fan of this product, it won’t make you look orange or artificial. Would recommend you apply it right after a good thorough shower, but make sure you layer a quick splash of toner, any ph balancing toner, then mixing it with like a gel cream ( Neutrogena: Hydroboost body gel cream ) in the summer so it doesn’t feel like your wearing a wetsuit. And winter any rich body butter or body lotion. But don’t forget the toner before you apply it. For for whatever reason it preps your skin, kinda like a primer or adhesion promoter.

Love these!! I add them in my face lotion mostly bc with wearing spf daily my face is never as tan as my body. It doesn’t seem to cause any issues with acne or breakouts which is great! I add some into my body lotion from time to time as well to try to keep my tan lasting long! There’s a small self tanner smell when I use it on my whole body but nothing compared to how self tanners smell!! I bought shade medium— it’s perfect without looking unnaturally dark and definitely it orange!

I like the drops, I often mix with my body cream and apply it all over. Just make sure you mix well that way you don’t end up uneven.
