My daughter is 11 and wanted a hoverboard for 3 or 4 years now.. she has autism which has its own life challenges.. so I found one for reasonable on sale.. she opened it got on for less than 30 seconds and was super scared.. so it was just sitting around for a few weeks.. i found this kit randomly searching Amazon, that would change her life.. she fell in love!. I can't get her off of it now.. I even rode it once to prove it was safe for her.. only thing I do notice is that for some reason the steel bar is bowed.. don't know why it doesn't seem to effect how it works so I'm a happy mommy!!

I messed around driving in the streets in the middle of the night with this and it was cool. My only small issue is that whenever I turn the steering thing, it makes a loud squeeing sound. It might’ve just been how I tightened the screws and bolts though. Anyways this is pretty fun, would recommend.

The seat is so small, I don't think a small petite adult female can sit in it. The seat is sized more for 10 - 12 year olds and below. It is clearly false advertising. In addition, one of the mounting bolts was cross threaded, after I assembled it for testing, I ended up having to use a pair of locking pliers to get it out because the Allen would indent would not hold the bit. Return. I don't give second chances when an item is so clearly falsely advertised.

I am so glad I purchased this! It was so easy to put together and had all the tools I needed included that it was ready to ride in no time at all. The shock absorbers and 4 wheels made for an incredibly smooth ride even on rough terrain. It can be steered with the handle bar or with your feet. The seat is comfortable for an adult or a child. Its so easy to adjust the length that we went from an adult riding to the appropriate size for my son in a matter of seconds. Definitely worth the money!
