    • Nice Scooter TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
We bought the GT2 Isinwheel scooter for our 12 year old grandson for Christmas last year. He took delivery of the scooter on January 11th, he has loved the scooter. however, in latter part of May or first of June the battery started failing. It would not go as far on a charge as it had been going, the charge didn't last as long, it just was not holding a charge and it took longer to charge. On July 8th I spoke with Andrew with Isinwheels customer service he asked me to send a photo of the scooter, which I did. Then on July 9th I got a message from Lorna. Lorna was wanting to know about three different things about the failing battery. I replied with all the info after talking with my grandson. When I did not get a response I emailed them again on July 11th, letting them know noone had replied after sending the info to them. I sent another email on July 15th trying to follow up and as of today August 26th NOONE at Isinwheel has replied or tried to help! It is really sad he truly enjoyed the scooter, he weights about 125 and the scooter went up hills with no problem. Good ride but terrible customer service [email protected] ... show more

    • I would give 0 starts if I could.
The scooter sucks, save your money. I've had the scooter for 3 days and I already regret buying it. The whole thing feels bulky. Specs are inflated; it never comes close to the advertised 28 mph top speed or 37 mile range. Maybe on paper with an 80lb rider on perfect roads, but in real life? Not even close. The battery meter is wishy-washy, goes up and down all the time, and never tells you exactly how much range you actually have left. The throttle design is terrible. Instead of a wrist throttle like a motorcycle, you’re forced to stretch your thumb out and hold it constantly, which just gives you cramps after a few minutes (no joke). The cruise control is the dumbest feature I’ve ever seen — it only activates if you hold the throttle in the exact same spot for like 10 seconds (hard to do on bumpy roads), and when it finally does kick in, there’s no warning. I’ve literally had a time where I let go of the thumb throttle to slow down as I was approaching 2 people walking in front of me. Little did I know cruise control was active and the scooter kept going on its own, which caused me to fall and scrape my knee. No warning, no indicator, nothing. It’s actually dangerous. And when I do want it so I don’t have to stretch my thumb out the whole ride, it almost never works. The tire valve placement is another disaster. It’s buried inside the rim so most pumps don’t fit. And the fact I got sent a scooter with a flat back tire right out the box means now I have to spend extra money on a valve extender, a pump, and a twist throttle mod kit just to be able to ride it like I should’ve been able to on day one. That should’ve been basic design 101. Low tire pressure also makes it even harder to hit decent speeds, so the performance gets worse. On top of that, the Isinwheel Club app is useless. It connected once on day one and never again. Total garbage. This scooter looks good on paper but it’s not. It’s a flashy toy. Between the false advertising, painful throttle, broken cruise control, trash app, and all the extra accessories you need just to make it rideable, it’s not worth the money. Save yourself the headache and buy from a serious brand (Segway, Kaabo, Dualtron, NIU, etc.). ... show more
