Santa just delivered it and it was a HUGE hit. Our 10 yr old loves it! Was super happy and made his Christmas. Was easy to assemble and charged overnight. Be aware that kids need to push off to start the motor. I as a parent appreciate the lights (break and other) makes the scooter visible. Also has a horn and a speed gauge.   • THE WORST RETURN PROCESS!

Let me tell you my tale of woe on how iScooter handled my return. I am a long time Amazon Prime Member. I love Amazon and I love their easy return process. After submitting my return request through Amazon, I was messaged by a customer service representative from iScooter offering an absurd $15 refund for my 100+ purchase! Moreover, this representative questioned me as to whether I understood all the benefits offered by this scooter and proceeded to state a lengthy generic template-type response on all the bells and whistles I may have missed! My husband and I assembled the scooter for a very brief try-out on my tile floors inside our home to determine if our 8-year-old grandson could use it [safely]. I replied to iScooter’s message with this information as they wanted to know its condition. For my honesty, iScooter then wanted photos of the scooter’s serial number, the LED control panel, the box, etc. AND then more messages questioning did I try the scooter at the lowest speed, did I consider this or did I consider that. My husband and I had already disassembled the scooter, put it back in its box, and taped it thoroughly and securely. I was NOT going to re-open it for needless photos! It was difficult to get this scooter back in the box. It was tight-fitting to begin with and the scooter had to be placed properly inside using the 2 hard foam inserts that came in the box (I keep EVERYTHING and am very conscientious of returning products according to manufacturers’ instructions). My saga with iScooter spanned over 4 days, with iScooter taking 24 hours to respond to each of my messages. After the 2nd communication whereupon I vowed to leave them a negative review, a “supervisor” then stepped in, this time offering me a $20 refund! AND more questioning! Here is one of my messages to iScooter: “Again more useless information. Of course we thoroughly looked at all directions and know of the various speeds of the scooter! My husband and I packaged and heavily taped the box prior to my submitting the refund request. It was very difficult to fit everything back into the box! I am NOT going to re-open the box to take photos! I will cut a slit through all the tape and slide in the Amazon Return ID barcode as instructed on Amazon's website regarding my return. I already have a RETURN LABEL From Amazon which I printed. It seems you, Cody, are unaware of the returns process of Amazon when you state "the original box is required to request a prepaid return label" when clearly Amazon had already provided a return label for me! It's clear to me none of you know what you're doing adding again to my claim of negative experience. I'll be sure to include this latest round of communication in my NEGATIVE REVIEW”! Well, that was it! I HAD HAD IT! I called Amazon Customer Service and this very nice and understanding Representative reviewed the communications between iScooter and me. This representative confirmed my understanding of Amazon’s return policy: 1) Print the Amazon-provided Return-Bar-Code and place inside box. 2) Print and affix the Amazon-provided Return Mailing label. 3) Return to an Amazon preferred location. That’s it! No photos of anything! I believe iScooter was attempting to “punish” me for having threatened to leave a bad review on their retaliatory return requests. The Amazon representative explained 3rd-party vendors were not allowed to take the course of action iScooter was exacting on me. Moreover, if vendors continued these types of actions, Amazon could remove them from selling altogether! In the end, the representative sent iScooter what he termed as a “warning” email wherein he stated in part, the following: “Reason for contact: The customer did not want to send more pictures of the product she just simply want to return the Item because it was not as expected. So please don't make any further questioning with the customer and make sure to resolve this as soon as possible! Please respond to this request within 48 hours. Thanks, Amazon Customer Service” I nearly fell off my chair after reading that message! And, honestly, I felt a small weight lift off my shoulders. iScooter created a lot of stress on me for no reason! There was much more that company communicated to me that was inappropriate, but it’s been such a long story thus far. In the end, the message from Amazon Customer Service prompted an almost immediate response from iScooter. They once again stated a lot of jargon no one understands, but they said I did not have to return the scooter! I haven’t decided on what to do with that regard... My intention was not to gain from this situation. The moral of the story: 1) Follow Amazon Return procedures 2) Report vendors who require added procedures 3) Call Amazon Customer Service 4) Consider how much information you should give to vendors? LOL Amazon Customer Service is wonderful! I give them 10 stars and thanks for reading! ... show more

  • Good Customer Service/Good Product for Our Older Son

We had some issues with the two scooters that we ordered for our kids for Christmas. We were able to go back and forth with the customer service and were able to get a helpful/positive resolution, which we really appreciated. In my opinion, these scooters overall are great for children between 8-13ish years old who are just learning to balance/ride a motorized toy. The speed is a little too much for our younger 6 year old son who doesn’t know how to balance at all yet, but the 5mph range was perfect for our 9 year old to continue working on his balancing skills. The handle height is not adjustable so our 6 year old is a tad short for it and has a bit of a struggle seeing over the handle bars, but the size is perfect for our 9 year old. This scooter works the best on flat surface areas. The material the scooter is made out if seems strong/durable so far (we just got them) and the kickstand is a nice, yet simple additional feature. ... show more

Purchased this Scooter, for our 7-year-old son due to the ability to select three different operating speeds. Our son started on a lower speed and has now advanced to the higher speed. The function is unique to this iScooter model. It is helpful for parents concerned with higher speeds, prior to figuring out how to safely operate the Scooter. Another positive feature is the dual braking system, both a foot and handlebar operated brake are provided. Our son has experienced many hours of enjoyment using the iScooter. Unfortunately, the scooter had an unanticipated mechanical failure. On my end, I was unclear on how to repair the scooter. Contacted the iScooter Customer Service Team, by phone, regarding the mechanical failure. As shared in other reviews, the Customer Service team completed a detailed assessment of the mechanical failure and expeditiously assisted with the repair.
