This is my second robot vacuum. My first robot vacuum was a no-name brand had a lot of suction, but only randomly ran around my house. It didn’t auto empty and cleaning it out every day was is a chore. Also it definitely missed areas. The iRobot i3’s software is a huge upgrade for my first robot. It learned my house and help me set up the rooms. I can have it clean a specific room just using my Alexa (or the app) or I can have it clean the entire house at once. It has a very good job cleaning my house. I have two dogs, one of which is a border collie and I’m using it every day. I don’t see any dog hair in my house as it does a great job at picking it all up. And I have it set up to go back-and-forth instead of randomly around rooms and it finds a dirty spot to hit that area two or three times. It always finds its way back to its base and south empties, which is a huge improvement from my previous vacuum which many times will get stuck or run out of power before it found its base. I love the auto empty feature, but my bag in the base only lasts about two weeks I’m guessing because of the dog hair. The manufacturer says 6 to 8 weeks. But with the trade-off of not having to clean it every day, I am willing to change the bag every two weeks. Also for comparison, the area I have it cleaning is a little over 1,100 sqft(BTW: it takes about 10 seconds to change the bag in the base.) The vacuum is quiet while cleaning but if it needs to empty its tank, the base is quite loud for about 8 to 10 seconds while emptying. If you work from home, you may want to consider scheduling the vacuum at a time when it won’t interfere with your work if you have to take calls or be on zoom. (Or the app allows you pause the vacuum & resume the cleaning later) I also like that it will return to its base and charge and then go back and finish the job picking up right where it left off. So far this vacuum has worked great and I highly recommend it. If anything changes I will update this review.

I've had it quite sometime, now. Keep it clean ... change the filters ... get new rollers and brushes when it tells you they're needed...AND IT THE BEST APPLIANCE I OWN. I can take it apart myself and do a thorough clean, too. It takes a bit of time to program it for each room... but it works SO WELL, once you take the time to "map". Mine avoids things in the ground... and I have 2 potty trained dogs...but one vomited and I didn't see it...a while ago...and my iRobot ( Rosie) avoided it! It picks up thread, dog fur... everything!

I've owned 3 different brands and this is the best so far. I have 4 small dogs that shed A LOT and this vacuum has been the best in picking up all the dog hair. My own hair gets wound up in the wheels and brush so I have to clean often. I've had this for over a year, it still works well but noticed it getting stuck in corners more frequently and not always able to find home. I thoroughly cleaned the vacuum and the home base but this has not helped. I also noticed that lately it doesn't even try to find home and ends up just dying due to no power which frustrating when I have to dig it out from under furniture. I'm not ready to give up on it though because it cleans so well

Love having this robot vacuum. The floors stay much cleaner and it is nice that it get under furniture that normal vacuum cannot. We have had a couple of issues with the wheel motors going out. Roomba is great at replacing parts under warranty. It surprises me how much dirt and dog hair this picks up. Once it maps out the house, it it easy to label rooms and mark areas for the vacuum to not go via the map. It is also nice that it sends you message via your phone when it is done vacuuming or runs into an issue.

Bought this for the new house. Instructions said I could map places to vacuum and other places not to go because it gets stuck unable to roll over the feet of our bar stools. Turns out they want me to buy expensive modules to set up a barrier signal. Now I just use them to clean in one room and hallway. It does a nice job there but not the work saver I'd hoped for and really expensive for just one and a half rooms. ☹️

Love this thing! We have 2 dogs and it does a great job picking up the shedded hair. Love that it the empty's itself. Pretty quiet, super easy to use, and the battery life is great. Its sturdy enough to bump into a dog or item left on the floor and it doesn't affect it.

Wanted to love it. Couldn't connect to my Wi-Fi. Only recommendation from Roomba was to turn off encryption. Permanently. You have got to be kidding. I have a computer background and have seen $50 items get Wi-Fi right. I could not believe Roomba couldn't do better. Bought a Shark and was connected in 2 minutes.
