Love having this robot vacuum. The floors stay much cleaner and it is nice that it get under furniture that normal vacuum cannot. We have had a couple of issues with the wheel motors going out. Roomba is great at replacing parts under warranty. It surprises me how much dirt and dog hair this picks up. Once it maps out the house, it it easy to label rooms and mark areas for the vacuum to not go via the map. It is also nice that it sends you message via your phone when it is done vacuuming or runs into an issue.

I've had it quite sometime, now. Keep it clean ... change the filters ... get new rollers and brushes when it tells you they're needed...AND IT THE BEST APPLIANCE I OWN. I can take it apart myself and do a thorough clean, too. It takes a bit of time to program it for each room... but it works SO WELL, once you take the time to "map". Mine avoids things in the ground... and I have 2 potty trained dogs...but one vomited and I didn't see it...a while ago...and my iRobot ( Rosie) avoided it! It picks up thread, dog fur... everything!

We’ve had our roomba for about a year now and love it! We named ours Dobby. The self cleaning feature is a must, especially for pet owners. We’ve only had to change the bag three times, and we have 2 medium sized dogs. It is a bit noisy, but not too bad. It’s not great at mapping multiple rooms, so you have to sweep corners every once in a while, but we expected that going into it. We purchased Dobby to do the bulk of the cleaning ,which he does. We did learn that Dobby does not get along with strings and long human hair. There have been 2 occasions where we came home and Dobby was in the middle of a room shutdown, because he had hair and strings bound up in his brushes. Overall we are happy with our purchase. Like I said earlier, go with the self cleaning feature!

This is my second robot vacuum. My first robot vacuum was a no-name brand had a lot of suction, but only randomly ran around my house. It didn’t auto empty and cleaning it out every day was is a chore. Also it definitely missed areas. The iRobot i3’s software is a huge upgrade for my first robot. It learned my house and help me set up the rooms. I can have it clean a specific room just using my Alexa (or the app) or I can have it clean the entire house at once. It has a very good job cleaning my house. I have two dogs, one of which is a border collie and I’m using it every day. I don’t see any dog hair in my house as it does a great job at picking it all up. And I have it set up to go back-and-forth instead of randomly around rooms and it finds a dirty spot to hit that area two or three times. It always finds its way back to its base and south empties, which is a huge improvement from my previous vacuum which many times will get stuck or run out of power before it found its base. I love the auto empty feature, but my bag in the base only lasts about two weeks I’m guessing because of the dog hair. The manufacturer says 6 to 8 weeks. But with the trade-off of not having to clean it every day, I am willing to change the bag every two weeks. Also for comparison, the area I have it cleaning is a little over 1,100 sqft(BTW: it takes about 10 seconds to change the bag in the base.) The vacuum is quiet while cleaning but if it needs to empty its tank, the base is quite loud for about 8 to 10 seconds while emptying. If you work from home, you may want to consider scheduling the vacuum at a time when it won’t interfere with your work if you have to take calls or be on zoom. (Or the app allows you pause the vacuum & resume the cleaning later) I also like that it will return to its base and charge and then go back and finish the job picking up right where it left off. So far this vacuum has worked great and I highly recommend it. If anything changes I will update this review.

Beyond annoying. How can you have this run when you’re not home, when the thing CONSTANTLY gets stuck under chairs or kitchen cabinets? I won’t even go into what it did with a pile of dog poop…. Set up was a breeze. Don’t plan on it staying connected to WiFi though. It disconnects all the time. Because of the expense when I purchased this, and the headaches it’s caused, I don’t recommend it. I actually tossed the darn thing in the trash.

I have darker wood floors and a white dog that sheds a lot so my floors always look dirty. I have this programmed to run every morning before I get up and it does a really great job picking up all the hair and dirt. I love that you can program it and control it from your phone. I love being able to map the house which is super handy if part of your house is more high traffic and gets dirty a lot more. The app also shows you the life of the various parts you need to replace like filter and rollers. Even with running ours daily I only have to change the bag about once a month. Definitely worth the money.

We had another original model that we moved upstairs, so this one is now the primary floor. I LOVE the way it automatically empties the bin too - I don't have to chase it down 2-3 times a day to do that. Would love a re-usable bin instead of disposable bags, but that's minor. We did have a problem with the extractor brushes after about 4 months, but the iRobot app called for help and the tech expedited a new part to us right away - super easy to pop in too. Great customer service! I want another one of these for upstairs now too!

I’ve had my Roomba/Braava Jet combo for a few months now, and I waited this long to give it a review so I could see how it performed through a couple of seasons. Unfortunately, I’ve been pretty disappointed with the Roomba. The cleaning is mediocre at best, and it mostly balls up clumps of debris and leaves them everywhere. Most irritatingly though is the issue with the waste bag, and the near constant “bag is full” messages. Spoiler alert: the bag is NOT full. The bag is very far from full. The bag has the barest amount of debris. If I wanted a lazy, mobile tripping hazard that leaves clumps of debris everywhere and needs constant attention, I would have just gotten myself another cat. I added a second star for the Braava Jet, which does a reasonably good job.
