Love these storage containers and wish I'd bought them years before I did! They nicely store in my kitchen pantry and roll out easily for access. The stacking containers fit snug and work perfectly. I have two dogs and 2 parrots - each of them with different diet needs. I just recently purchased this stand-alone 30lb container to contain a "light" diet food that my less active/slightly overweight dog needs. I had a container that I had to pick up and pour, it was so heavy, I couldn’t deal with with it anymore. I purchased this container and I just love it. The wheels are great to slide into place. So easy to pop the lid and scoop out my babies food. The scoop slides nicely into the inside of the lid., so convenient. It wholes 2 big 25 lbs of food. We LOVE our dog food container! We've tried other brands and shortly after filling it, all we could smell was the kibble in the room it's stored in, so freshness was not guaranteed. With the IRIS container there is no leaking odors and the container takes up less space than others we've tried in the past as well. The included scoop is so convenient and I love that it stores on the inside of the lid so it's not buried in the kibble when feeding time comes. The wheels are very sturdy and glide effortlessly across our wood floors (whether it's full or completely empty) when we need to move the container. The lid does pop off at one of the clasps about 50% of the time when we open it, but it pops right back in place so it doesn't bother us to deal with that. Seals well, easy open and easy lock. Wheels are not installed but included. We needed a replacement when our other container was damaged by movers. Specifically, my only requirements was 1. It needed to be air tight - at least mostly. 2. It MUST hold a COSTCO sized bag of dog food, without decanting it. I’ve taken a photo to show this works as needed, as I didn’t have any visuals when purchasing. The issue I have is the top is an auto close which is incredibly frustrating, personally. The way the lid lip hooks under edge with the clips, there’s no way around this. Otherwise, it’s great for our use. I appreciate the fair price and the lack of pattern, although I do wish the color was something that blended better or at least had a few options. It also comes with a scoop that is much too large for our sizing (1 cup each) so we donated it and use our previous one for consistency and accuracy. ... show more

As a container, this does what it says: it is a relatively attractive container for the pet's food. The size is good. The price was reasonable compared to comparables. Negatives: - gassy plastic odor on arrival, so had to be washed and aired before I could put food in it; no odor after that - easy to put together... but it also falls apart really easily. The lid hinge is not a tight fit, so it pops off easily. The wheels fall off VERY easily and there is no 'snap' to snap them on tightly. Putting them back on is difficult when full of food, and it's hard because the ones that fall off happen to be diagonal corners so one falls off while you put the other one on. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I had two main requirements for a dog food container: (1) I wanted Coopie's food to stay fresh—he eats the same thing every day, so the least I can do is make sure it’s not stale. (2) I wanted something that could hold a lot of food and roll out of sight when not in use. The IRIS container met both of those needs and more. It feels sturdy, is BPA-free plastic and has quality rollers on its base. It doesn’t big but it holds a big amount of food. It originally lived in our pantry and fit nicely under a shelf. I later moved it out next to his feeding station and realized it actually looks clean and low-profile—unlike a floppy, half-open food bag. I got a container for my parent's too when Coop visits - theirs is in the laundry room which is where I took the pictures. We have used this for a couple years now and the seal is still intact and keeps the kibble fresh. Highly recommend. PROS ✅ Airtight - large seal between top/bottom ✅ Great Wheels - rolls easily ✅ Slim Space-Saving Shape - holds a lot of food too ✅ Two options to secure ✅ Quality material CONS None from me.
