This is a great kit for those DIYers that can't justify spending nearly $60 per piercing or who like to do things on a whim. It comes with everything you need to do many 14 and 16 gauge piercings, though you should definitely read through the description to ensure it comes with the particular jewelry you're looking for or buy some when you order this. The plastic forceps it comes with are actually great. Most people, myself included, would assume they'd be terrible but they were actually much nicer to use than the metal ones I bought to accompany this kit. They have a small amount of give so they were able to lock in place without causing pain and did not slide around. The metal ones were not able to lock in place while gripping skin. There are 13-16ga needles included. I actually used the 15ga for 16ga piercings because you can fit the 16ga jewelry in the 15ga needles to do a more pain free pass through. I didn't try fitting the 16 in 16ga needles but judging by the fit in the 15ga needles it probably wouldn't fit. Now for just a suggestion for anyone that game pierced themselves, or been pierced at all. Your body is going to fight you trying to pierce yourself. It will go much slower if you do it yourself and be much more painful than if someone else, such as a professional, pierces you. Your body does not want to harming it and will fight it. You can do it yourself, many of us have, but I'd suggest finding someone knowledgeable that you trust that can help you. Also, the company is great. The Amazon warehouse sent me lingerie by mistake. I emailed the company and they quickly sent me a new kit. You won't be able to do a refund or return request but you can contact them and explain it if you get the wrong item ... show more

I have pierced my own philtrum, septum, surface tragus, conch, and helix with this kit. The clamps work great, the needles are sharp and the jewelry is good quality. For lip piercings, the jewelry is too short. I did have to buy a separate ring for that. When using the larger needles, the jewelry doesn't fit into the end of the needle to thread it through so I did have to size down on the jewelry for my septum and surface tragus, which wasnt an issue for me. 5 stars because I was abke to successfully give myself angel bites piercings, however, I was only able to use two of the pieces (the longer bars) due to all of the other ones being too small for my thick lips. Maybe these piercings are more for other areas than the lips. Either way, $15 is a lot cheaper than I would have paid for someone else to do it, and it feels more personal when I do it myself. Great kit! My teenage daughter, now 17 has been interested in piercing for 3 years. She has pierced her ears 11 holes, her own tongue, double nose piercings. She has also pierced some of her 18 yr old friends with this kit. She’s very good at it but this kit made it much easier for her.

Kit came with gloves, but they were not individually packaged aside from everything else, I pulled them out and they were just floating in the bag. Other than that the jewelry is cute, and is fairly easy to use. None of the needles are big enough to put the jewelry inside and run through like you're supposed to, but honestly you get what you pay for ... show more

The issue is that I don't know what size each piece is, and I'm fairly certain there is no 16g jewelry, even though most of the needles are 16g. Kinda dumb, but I can go up to a 15g so its alright for me
