Really nice product for a reasonable price. Many uses. I have a small galley style kitchen with limited storage. Bought one of these 3 yrs ago during the SARS 2 lockdowns to store my oatmeal, flour and other pantry baking items. Broke my leg and was in hospital for 2 weeks last year (much better now) but when I returned some field mice had decided to inhabitant my home. They found my peanut chews and made a mess of the house When I returned home on crutches. Was a real pain in butt. Everything in this storage bin stayed protected and fresh (even peanuts). Was so happy with this product that I just bought two more for some "prep" winter food storage. I don't put the wheels and still easy to move around. Very happy with this product. We have two dogs, a medium and small dog. With this container I’m able to keep food for both in one spot and the wheels make it so easy to move around. I invested in these bins because my cat couldn't stop chewing through his bag of cat food and making a huge mess. Plus, it also just looks a lot nicer than having big bags of cat and dog food sitting around. The big container seems a lot smaller than it actually is. I was surprised that it held my dog's 30lb bag of food. The top container perfectly fits a 7lb bag of cat food. The lids of both containers are hinged in the back and have a latch at the front that's very easy to lock and unlock. It feels too easy, like the container isn't being securely sealed, but I regularly turn the cat food bin on its side with no leakage. For the price, these bins are worth it. I don't have to worry about pests getting to the cat and dog food, my nosy cat included. These also save space and are more ergonomic than a paper bag. ... show more

NOTE THE BOTTOM BIN IS ACTUALLY LARGE ENOUGH TO HOLD A 30LB BAG OF DOG FOOD. Knowing our brand of dog food (Taste of the Wild) is sold in 30lb bags, I thoroughly searched Amazon and this was the only container I could find that met my other needs (airtight and wheeled) and also included an auxiliary container to hold what I thought would be that "extra" 5lbs (since the bottom bin is marketed for 25lb bags). Turns out, I didn't even need the top container. Not the end of the world as I now have an extra container for treats but if you also buy 30lb bags and are looking to save some money, you could probably find a similar but cheaper product that doesn't include the top bin. For my original intention, this would've been perfect because I anticipated using up the 5lbs in the top bin, then taking it off and just using the bottom bin until the rest of the bag was gone. However, if you plan on putting treats or something else in the smaller bin and you want to keep them stacked as shown in the picture, remember you will have to take the top bin off before being able to open the lid to the bottom. I keep the two bins stored separately so this isn't an inconvenience for me but I can imagine it would become pretty irritating to unstack them 3x a day (or however often you feed your dog), every day. Otherwise, I'm fairly happy with this product. The wheels make it flexible and convenient. It probably is airtight due to the rubber seal but I'd like it better if the lid shut more tightly. It's good enough to keep bugs out but it just doesn't give you that satisfying snap that other airtight containers often do so I can't help but wonder if the contents are staying as fresh as they could. Fortunately, our puppy goes through bags of food fast enough that staleness isn't a problem! If I were King of the World, I would probably also make the plastic a little more opaque, like grey or dark brown, because my personal preference is to keep things stored out of sight to reduce visual clutter. Some people might like the transparency so they can monitor how much is left but you know that by just opening the lid! Overall, good product which does more than advertised. Not perfect but what is? UPDATE - Not sure what's been going on with my previous "30lb" bags of dog food which completely fit into the bottom bin, but my most recent 30lb bag required the entire 33 quart bottom bin + part of the upper 12 quart top bin. When I convert the measurements from quarts to pounds, this makes sense and that's why I bought this two-part unit in the first place. I guess Taste of the Wild just shorted me on those other bags :-(! ... show more

    • Finally! A GREAT dry dog food container!!

After reading the product description, I purchased 2 of these containers. They are better "in person" than shown in the pics. Came complete with only the wheels to snap on (easy, like 10 seconds, no tools required). The size is perfect for my storage needs - 2 fit into my pantry closet really well (yes! gone is the big white food container), I keep dry food in the bottom container and treats in the top containers. Easy access. everything fits!!! ok ... I'm seriously thinking of purchasing another one ... I can think of several uses for these handy containers besides dog food ~ rolling files with extra supplies next to my desk, craft items (yarn, needles,), workshop items (tarps, tools,), spare bedroom items (sheets, blankets, all in one) etc. Seriously, BUY THIS!     • Really Cheap Plastic & Lid Does Not Attach Properly

I've bought this combo a few years ago and had no trouble, but the plastic now feels really cheap (and smelly! SO much off-gassing when I opened the smaller bin that did come closed), and the lid of the big bin doesn't attach properly. I've looked at it thoroughly and there is only one possible way for the lid to attach – but then it will not close. There is something wrong with the measurements, so that when the lid fits into the hinges, it then cannot reach to the front to latch closed. SO frustrating! ... show more
