Pro: thicker valve oil that an old beater trumpet needed. Con: Smells BAD! pulled an old trumpet out of storage. sanitized it, and found the valves kept sticking after pouring large quantities of "Al Cass fast valve oil" into the horn. Bought this stuff which is thicker. I only used it once as it stinks to high heaven and wish I had just used some 10w40 engine oil instead. Still... it did fix the issue I was having with the fast oil and the valve stopped sticking. ... show more

It’s definitely oily! I was kind of surprised by the size of it considering other competitor brands usually give the same amount unlike this one. I don’t know if it was user error but when oiling my first trumpet valve it was stickier than before I had oiled it. The rest of the valves I had no issues but that one just won’t be in time with rest of the valves which can make it incredibly frustrating when playing technical or faster music. ... show more
