Who buys a chair without trying it out. Crazy, right? Well I bought this chair for my bedroom and just took a chance that the reviews were accurate. The chair arrived in two boxes and one was very heavy. The delivery company was terrible. They just left them in the driveway of our condo building and did not ring the doorbell nor text or anything. We were surprised to find them there and it was a real struggle to get them into our garage. Zero stars for that driver. Our next challenge was to get the chair up our stairs. We had to enlist the help of a neighbor and both my husband and the neighbor were finally able to get it into our bedroom. Be aware that the chair is very, very heavy. I love how simple and only 3 steps to assemble. The COMFORT is undescribable. Oooooh so COMFORTABLE! I am 76 in years. Arthritis in lower and upper back, the function of one arm and recently had booth knees replaced. This chair has the heat and I get a total back massage, ever so gentle with a mere touch of buttons to customize my very own desires (MY, MY, MY) The comfortable multiple positions, my own customized, is another PLUS. Raise my feet a little or straight out. The back of the chair has multiple positions to a layflatt, take a nap position. The cushioning is firm but gent)y allows your body to feel like you are on firm marshmallows. QUIET movements. This sounds heavenly WITHOUT disabilities, BUT when you have disabilities as I do, it makes my life so enjoyable. I purchased the ivory faux BREATHABLE leather. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Over time payments made affordable. I've been wanting a layflatt chair but I just couldn't afford it at the time being until AMAZON made valuable desired number of payments.     • Would I Buy This Chair Again?

Absolutely! Well worth the money. It's easy to assemble (right arm, left arm and back). The faux leather is very nice, and the construction of the chair is very solid. The motors are smooth when using them to raise or lower the chair and also very quiet. The massage is vibration which I needed because the roller type that uses rollers hurts my back. The heat feels great and can be used separate or together with the massage. I use the chair as my office chair in front of my computer. When the leg rest is completely raised there is still plenty of room for my legs to fit underneath the computer desk. It's nice to be able to work on the computer or watch a movie while relaxing by adjusting the chair into the perfect position. Here's a little trick I figured out for setting up perfectly straight. If I want to sit up really straight, I use the lift position like I am getting out of the chair without lifting it completely (only about 10%). I have the back of the chair positioned to its most upright position. This keeps my back good and straight while still be able to remain comfortable. It said it was large but much larger than I could adapt too. I am having a surgery where use of my arms are limited. I bought the lift so I wouldn’t have to pull up. That was fine, worked great! The chair arms set so high I couldn’t put my arms on them without raising my elbows up ( which was a no no). If I left them down, they were trapped in between the two sides. I’m 5’2” and should have bought a smaller chair, but it didn’t have the heat and massage and I thought I could adapt! Nope! ... show more

I am writing this after only having the recliner one day. It came in 2 boxes. Fedex left them outside in the rain, and did not ring the bell. So if you are not home during the day be aware of this. The faux leather is very good quality and the chair seems to be very well constructed and designed. The electric components are in a package under the seat base. It is easy to put the arm pieces on the base. We over analyzed attaching the back to the seat, because there are prongs sticking out that look like they would prevent it. Dont think about it. Just shove the back onto the seat until it clicks. There should be no gap between the back and the seat. If you have any problems with assembly there is a YT video. The controller is wired, not battery. My issue is there are 6 functions and only 4 buttons. Lift up and down; feet up and down; back recline or not. Since there are only 4 buttons, the foot function shares with lift. The back is slightly reclined even when fully up. So my husband is using several pillows to sit farther forward. I am 5'3". When i sit with no pillows my legs/knees hit the edge of the chair where they should. The chair fits me. If you have long legs this chair may be too small for you. ... show more

I find the chair very comfortable, sturdy and easy to use. It has an attractive style to it as well. I actually bought it for myself to enjoy the massage and heat and for my sister who needs a lift when getting up from a chair. The massage remote malfunctioned after using a couple of times. The company sent a replacement right away which I absolutely appreciate. No hassle when I made the request for the replacement. It was so easy. Excellent customer service means a lot nowadays.
