One of the reviewers said that his hose was not 6 inches wide, so I was concerned that the wrong hose would be sent... but Amazon works very hard at protecting their customers from mistakes like that, so I stopped worrying about it. And yes, the hose was DEFINITELY 6 inches wide. 2. Seems to be well constructed and very air tight. The hoses that look like they are just covered with material that looks like tinfoil can have thin spots, or even out-and-out holes in them. I'm using this hose to vent air out of the house from a laser machine... so this was important to get right... and the hose is the right hose for me! 3. Would I purchase again for this use? The media could not be loaded. I loved this type of hosing. It is so thing strong and durable. It's almost like magnetic and makes all the other brands seem so cheap!

It seems like it's good quality, but the diameter is slightly smaller than other flex duct I've used. I had a really hard time getting it on the pipe even when I crimped the end of the pipe. Even then, it's not on quite as far as I would like. I do like the price.

My order was about 8 inches short (while literally pulling at it with force to stretch it out so usable not under tension only 7 feet not 8) and the venting is 6.5 inches in diameter not 6 inches as listed in title and did not notice anything in the fine print at time of purchace. Which made it incompatible with my needs. Other than that it seems high quality and could have had 5 stars if they sent me the expected size. ... show more
