I honestly had no high expectations. All I wanted is for it to be Decent, and not damaged. I was initially taken aback when I got home to see that the Box was left on my porch slightly damaged. I’ve dealt with damaged packages being left so I digress. Lo and Behold I found that there was no damages or missing parts. I got into my groove and after I assembled the first two parts I was on my way. It took me all of 2 hours to complete, but the finished product was AMAZING. I can’t believe that something this nice was fairly inexpensive. I’m glad I decided NOT to go to Rooms2Go! I’m will DEFINITELY buy another one of these in the very near future!! ... show more

Assembly was easy to figure out, but is better with a second person. Most things were labeled. One foot was cracked on the top but it didn’t seem to impede building this. Seems solid overall so far. Color is nice. The only downside is the bar in the center part on the side. I continually stub my toe on this. It would be nice if this was further in instead of right at the edge. I just finished putting this bed frame together with my two assistants 😹😹. One thing I recommend doing to save time is to follow the directions. 🤪 It said not to fully tighten the bolts right away while assembling (which I did not follow.)🥴 I spent more time tightening and untighten bolts as I went along. You will save time doing a final tightening on all the bolts at the very end. If you tighten each one as you build it you WILL have to constantly loosen them to line everything up. Highly recommend follow this part of the instructions ✌️😎. Overall took me about an hour and half and I am very satisfied. I will say though if you notice in the pictures I posted that our new mattress hangs about a quarter of an inch off the end of the frame. So there's that. ... show more

I have a 15” hybrid latex mattress with a 2” plush topper, no boxspring. So far the bed is holding up nicely. In a few months I will check the tightness of the bolts to see if they loosened any. If they do then I’m thinking I will put a small dab of thread locker on them. What I liked most about this bed and what others on Amazon did not offer was a somewhat high headboard and a decent amount of space under the bed.
