Amazing especially for a portable! The dehumidifier is fantastic! The noise level is what is to be expected with this kind of unit, but we'll worth the price! It has cooled (70°) the whole downstairs of our house-about 1100 sq ft-in a very hot, humid environment, and we usually keep it on low speed! We realized it works more efficiently when installing the drain hose during heat waves. Highly recommend this unit!

Ordered a smaller unit from another company and it was severely under powered. Studied a bit more on the BTU designation and the Humhold 12000 BTU portable AC won out! It was very easy to install and came with a full window installation kit. My office is 15' x 14' and it cools it VERY well. For a portable unit it is pretty quiet. The controls are easy to understand and it comes with a remote control. For the power of the unit the size is small and that was important as I don't have a lot of space in my crowded office. I live in very dry Denver, CO and this unit works very well for me. It does have a feature that will dehumidify as it cools if you live in a humid climate, but you must remember to drain the collected water. It stated on Amazon that a drain hose was included but I did not find one in the box. The swing vent on top of the unit is nice as it directs the cold air up and down. We have had several days around 100 recently and my office was comfortable. Very happy with my purchase, and I feel this unit was more honest with its BTU claim. It does revert to Celsius at times and has to be reset to Fahrenheit. UPDATE: We have now had 3 weeks of intense summer heat with high 90's and low 100's for 3 straight weeks. . I am very pleased with how this ac unit has kept my office nice and cool. At times it has been downright cold in my office!! What a relief.

We use this in between a total remodel of our AC system and it did not disappoint. It cooled our large house very nicely. The only con, is you have to have low windows. If your windows are higher, you'll have to set the unit on top of something in order to vent it out. The wheels made it easy to move. It wasn't very loud. It functioned very well for the size of the unit. It also would shut off once the room got to the desired temperature, which was a plus.

What a game changer! This GEM worked perfectly right out of the box. It made my bedroom super chilly within just minutes and i can not believe how quiet it is. I couldn't be happier and an so glad I made this purchase. I was a little leary because it is a "no name" air conditioner but this is an awesome machine.
