This Echo Pop may be small, but it’s out here running the show like it owns the Wi-Fi. First of all, the setup was so easy I wasn’t sure I had done it right. I plugged it in, blinked, and suddenly Alexa was asking me how my day was going. Ma’am, let me catch up. It fits anywhere—nightstand, kitchen counter, bookshelf, plant shelf, bathroom (don’t judge)—and it looks cute doing it. I got the Glacier White one and it’s giving "minimalist chic meets futuristic marshmallow." Sound quality? Shockingly good for something this size. I asked it to play Lizzo while I did dishes and suddenly I was in concert, front row, suds and all. And the Alexa responsiveness? On point. I whisper “what’s the weather?” from across the room with a mouthful of cereal and Alexa’s like, “Gotchu. Light rain. Bring a jacket.” She’s so supportive. Here’s the power move: I got one for every room and set up an intercom system. Now I can drop in on the kitchen from my bedroom like a spy or yell “Dinner’s ready!” without actually yelling.
