Picked this up for my Scribe Colorsoft. The leather feels soft, and it honestly gives off more of a luxury vibe than a typical cover. It feels closer to something you’d expect from a leather brand than a regular Amazon cover, which was a pleasant surprise. I went with the brown color and really like - looks clean and classy without being boring. The magnetic attach to the device is surprisingly strong. I was a little worried it might feel loose, but the Scribe snaps right in and doesn’t shift around at all!! I also like the pen strap more than I thought I would. It keeps the pen from rolling around in my bag, and I really like how it sits neatly on the back when you’re writing so it’s not intrusive at all. It's super convenient! Overall, it feels like it actually protects the device in addition to just looking good. It does add a bit of weight, but for me that’s a fair trade-off for the extra protection. Not totally sure how the leather will hold up long term, but brand new it feels and looks really good. Yeah, it’s kinda pricey, but you can tell where the money went. If you use your Scribe a lot and want a cover that feels “official” and well built, this one’s def worth it. No regrets so far.

I really love the feel of this cover and it looks very professional. At first I questioned the higher price, but once I had it in hand I understood why. The leather feels premium and well made. The magnets are strong, so the Kindle Scribe stays securely in place and the stylus actually stays attached. Before this, my pen was constantly falling off and now I don’t have to worry about it. I also like that it automatically wakes the tablet when I open the cover. Between the quality leather and the secure magnetic hold, it’s worth the price in my opinion.

It's a very nice cover. Very thin and lightweight, which is nice since the device itself is very thin and lightweight. It's comfortable to hold with the front cover folded back. The pen keeper tab folds out of the way and magnetically attaches very well to stay out of the way when you don't need it. The auto wake/sleep works perfectly. It lays flat when sat on a desk while writing on the device. The leather feels very high quality and will hopefully last a very long time. I do feel the price is high for what you're getting and I docked a star for that.

I was afraid the fig cover would be out of stock when the scribe is released so I decided to go ahead and order it while I wait for the fig scribe. It was delivered today. I have to say I really like the leather. Love the color and the texture of it. I can tell it's real leather compared to the vegan leather cover I have for my 2024 scribe. I compared both covers and the fig is the exact same thickness as the older version, but the fig cover is stiffer. If you try to bend the fake leather cover it gives easily, while there is no give when you try to bend the fig cover, which to me means better protection. It is so sturdy it feels like a piece of steel in there. Yes it is very thin, but thicker is not always better. Cardboard is thick but you wouldn't get much protection from that, and I don't believe the thick hard plastic that third party cases are made of will offer as much protection and would be too bulky. Plus I have heard some graphite scribe owners say that the magnets in some third party cases interfere with the writing of the pen. The magnets on the fig cover seem to be stronger as well. I placed my kindle on both and had a much harder time removing it from the fig cover. While it is thin, it is very well constructed. I actually like how thin it is because it will not add bulk to the kindle. I believe that's why they made it so thin, so as not to add bulk or weight. I will feel much safer with my kindle in this cover than a third party cover so I'm actually glad I got it. Yes, the price is steep, but in my opinion the fig scribe won't be complete without it. Why pay so much for the fig scribe only to hide it with a cheap third party case that doesn't even match the beautiful fig color? If you're just going to cover it up, you might as well go ahead and buy the graphite scribe instead of waiting for the fig. So in the end, I have to say I am glad that I splurged on the official fig cover. Now I just need Amazon to release the fig scribe already!!!

I recently purchased the latest Scribe and wanted a book-style case. I don’t like the legal pad style cases Amazon offers, so decided to go with this one. It’s super easy to install and attaches via magnets. The pen clasp on the side has a satisfying connection and the fit and quality are excellent. No denying it’s high quality. The only issues are the price and the brand placement. I bought it because there were no options due to the newness of the Scribe. Paying as much for a cover as a Paperwhite device is hard to accept, but I’m keeping it. The brand is embossed directly in the center of the front in a tacky and intrusive way. If I could change two things, it would be for this to be closer to $100 and for the brand to be less prominent.

Our business purchased the new Scribe for employees, but I felt compelled to comment on this cover. It is inexplicably expensive for a flimsy price of leather. While it fits nicely and does its job, I would advise people to wait for a $15 TPU leather aftermarket cover which would feel similar and save animals. Amazon knows everyone purchasing the Scribe (amazing btw) will want a cover, so this feels like a huge money-grab. Good business, but very poor optics to those in the Amazon ecosystem.

Love this case! The color is beautiful and case feels high quality. It’s super easy to install because it sticks magnetically, fits perfectly and has a strong hold. There’s a flap that holds the pen securely. Also there’s a spot on the back of the case that secures the flap in the open position.
