This little gem of an invention will save you time and a whole lot of money! This converter is exactly what you need when plugging your US device into the local electric while traveling overseas. It can handle almost everything you need while traveling. It won't let you use a hair dryer or plug in your coffee maker, but it will give you the flexibility to use your telephone, or iPad while on the go. It also won't help with the local megahertz (mhz) conversion from the US standard of 60 mhz per second to the overseas standard of 50 mhz. What will happen is that everything you plug in will run 17 percent slower while in use or charging.

I stand corrected and have revised my 1 Star review to 5 Stars. The Seller saw the following review that I gave and immediately provided EXCELLENT customer service and I quickly received a replacement. Very impressed with the Seller and how they handled and corrected my situation all in less than one week. I liked the product but it broke during my first trip so I am glad that I now have a replacement that I'm sure will be perfect. Here's my original review: I bought this to take on a month's long trip out-of-country. I was excited that it would universally accommodate whatever outlet I would be dealing with since I knew I would need at least two or three of the plugs. That was short lived. What should had been a great tool ended up not working as it should. The plugs would not lock (stay open), so when I would put the adapter in the outlet the plug would push back in and close up. It was also difficult to slide the plugs out. I bought this based on the reviews being very positive but it didn't work for me and only lasted a week. Very frustrating when I was relying on this adapter for my month's long travels. I will renew this review if the seller is willing to exchange for a new one since I do feel that it is a good plug if it works properly. Thanks to the Seller for being a top-notch service person!

I was in Jordan last week and none of the hotels have the same outlet we use in America. Most importantly I was in the desert (Wadi Rum) where there was not a chance I could've bought a new charger if I wouldn't had brought my international travel adapter.
