Really well thought out product. Works with most overseas electrical outlets. Has a clever mechanism for extending and retracting plug contacts. As a pass-through, you can plug an appliance into the front, plug it into the wall in the back, and tap into the adapter with up to 4 USB and one USB-C cables. Be aware the pass-through power is limited to about 1000 watts @120v. That will probably support a laptop or a lamp, but not a microwave or hairdryer. You’ll probably blow a tiny fuse behind a little rubber cover on this unit if you exceed the power draw on the pass-through. The manufacturer was kind enough to include a spare fuse in the little enclosure. Also note this is not a transformer! It doesn’t convert 220 V to 110 V. It’s up to the User to make sure you are device is compatible before plugging it in. Most laptop and cell chargers adapt to a range of voltages but Bbuyer beware, you’d better read the small print on yours.

I bought another adapter first and decided I didn't like it because it was too difficult to slide the prongs in and out. I am so happy I got this one! It is extremely easy to use, feels sturdy, and I love that it can be used in so many countries. I just used it in Portugal, Spain and France with no problems! The case is a nice touch to keep the adapter clean and free of dust/debris.

I bought this a couple of years ago, and after several trips to Europe, I can say it is a must-have. It is very versatile because I needed different plug types in different countries, and this adapter worked every time. The built-in USB and USB-C ports were especially helpful for charging multiple devices. This is always the first thing I pack whenever I travel overseas. Although this worked fantastically on our recent trip to England, Scotland, and Ireland, it really wasn't necessary since all the hotels where we stayed had either plugs in the rooms that accommodated USA plugs or had an adapter at the front desk available to borrow during our stay. However, we did find when going out for the day, we took it with us in our backpack and it did allow us to charge our phones while having lunch.
