I bought the two pack of this adapter (G) for my trip to the UK and Ireland. Worked like a champ. I could charge multiple devices at once. I always take two adapters in case I lose one, one doesn’t work or another traveler in my group needs one. I’m getting ready to buy a C type now for Spain and Portugal. I must say I’m really tired of reviews stating these adapters work for hairdryers when it’s stated NOT to use for several products including a hairdryer and then when the bad review states it smoked/caught fire while using a hairdryer! Please read what an adapter does and what is safe to use it on. Sone people seem to think the adapter is a converter, which it is not. You would/may need a converter for a hairdryer you bring from the US, but I use the hairdryers at the hotels where I’m going since there is no adapter or converter needed there. As a frequent traveler to Europe, I've faced my fair share of challenges with incompatible plugs. That's why the European Travel Plug Adapter has become an essential part of my travel kit! From the get-go, what impressed me about this adapter was its compactness and lightweight design. It barely takes up any space in my luggage, and the build is sturdy despite its small size.     • Works as advertised. But know what you’re buying

Pay attention to what this is and it works great. It’s an adapter for devices that are dual voltage to change the plug shape to the older european type-c receptacles, as advertised. Devices that only work on 120v will fry so don’t blame the adapter. (Love all the 1 star reviews that blame the device for user ignorance). The type-c plug fits into european type-C, E, F receptacles which is convenient but the device really shouldn’t have a 3-prong receptacle since the European type-c plug is an un-earthed 2-prong leaving the 3rd prong (commonly called the ground prong) unconnected/ungrounded giving a false sense of safety. However many people in the US use 3-to-2 prong adapters incorrectly here as well. Would be better if it only had 2-prong receptacle. If you need to plug in a 3-prong, it should only go into a type-e or type-f receptacle and you should really use an adapter specifically for them with the correct earthing connector but of course one device that allows you plug in both 3-prong and 2-prong into the older 2-prong european type-c is more convenient on a short trip. This is a great travel adapter for Ireland and the UK. It was very convenient to have the USB chargers and the outlet all in one package. The unit is well made and lightweight. We brought both on our trip to have a backup. The blue LED is good to let you know that the unit is powered up, but it is little bright at night.
