Booted up with no issues. I’ve gotten everything moved over and installed. Two issues only. I had problems getting the BIOS to update, but that’s an Intel issue. I ended up having to trick the system in doing a BIOS restore to get it to install the newer BIOS. I found one loose cable when I popped it open to install a second SSD. Appears to run a fan, so not the end of the world, but since the seller says the do open the case to install things, it’s worth a look inside to check for loose cables. ... show more

I bought this so I can run an AD test environment at home. Primarily use Mac, but wanted the Windows experience. I ran into major issues with Oracle VB and VMWare. Not sure why this 64 GB RAM model was cheaper than most other models, but I am pretty happy with everything so far. Not sure what this dinky dumb little USB HUB is I would recommend just chucking it as it looks like some weird Chinese malware thing.

The size is great. It is very quiet. The only issue I have come across is sometime streaming video on my 35" ultrawide HD monitor it will sometimes just go black for a few secs then come back on and work fine.

The NUC itself is put together well… My gripe is with Win11, which has a lot of buggy crap, particularly with display driver issues and GUI problems… I don’t blame the seller for that, but I would recommend having Win10 installed, until Microsoft can work out the perpetual list of bugs with Win11…

This computer has been great. Using it strictly to stream Plex. It does an absolute wonderful job. Plenty of power to convert audio and video multiple streams with no struggle. Small form factor, and very quiet dual fans on top of unit.
