  • Not in retail packaging!
Style: Processor 6 Cores
CPU is not in retail packaging. Packaging is generic. Worked great though.

  • A great CPU for Overclocking, Gaming, or Multiple Uses!
Style: Processor 6 Cores
Used with a MSI Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI and 2x8GBs of RAM. With max temps barely at 80°C, the heat is managed quite well on air cooling with a decent heatsink, but running push/pull 120mm fans, I can comfortably push this chip up to 5.0GHz and it’s stable. With AMDs competition, I would NOT recommend this chip below ~$255, as there are simply better options available in most cases, but for $252, this cpu performs incredibly well, but much of that potential is in overclocking, so if you do not have or plan on purchasing a adept cooling solution, or have no interest in overclocking, there’s many other choices at much better value for your money. ... show more

Prosser lasted 10 months expected that a used Prosser would last a little loner , worked well when I purchased it. one day just died. I will order an other , come time.

  • Don't buy if not overclocking
Style: Processor 6 Cores
If you are not planning on overclocking go for a 10600 no x. The extra wattage creates a lot of heat

  • Great value for money. You won’t be disappointed.
Style: Processor 6 Cores
This cpu surprised me in how much performance gain I had, I upgraded from an i5-7400. I knew I’d get a big lift but it was way more than I could’ve expected. It’s currently boosting to 4.48GHz and temps are low with my AIO. The only thing to note is that this does not come with an air cooler in the box, it’s just the cpu. So make sure you have compatible coolers before you buy it. ... show more

  • Works great, know what your buying
Style: Processor 6 Cores
The marketing of this product made buying it a little sketchy. Turned out to be a real OEM warranted intel chip. Any negative posts on this skew is in most cases people not understanding what they are buying. It is a KF skew number. No, it doesn't have onboard video so YOU HAVE TO HAVE a gpu. Buying this, you should know and understand that, the numbering scheme has been that way for over 15 years. I finally got a GPU after a year of looking and so came the rest of the system. This went into an ASUS Z490 Tuf gaming board, cooled with a Noctua cooler. Video is a Stricks 3060. Chip is solid with a 5.2 Ghz OC on air 68-70C. I've pulled it back to 4.5 as I'm nowhere near pegging the usage in game and the extra heat translated to fan noise is a waste. A couple of premeir renders at 5.2 Ghz was impressive doing it in 1/6th the time as the I5 4370k system it replaced. ... show more
