I highly recommend this new instant pot! It not only has the normal instantpot functions, but it also has an air fry, bake, and roast function. I have cooked/roasted a meatloaf, stuffed chicken, and a pork loin and all have turned out great! I also cooked tatertots using the airfry function and that also turned out great. We have been staying in hotels for the past month due to my husband's jobs and this has saved us from having to eat out every night. This will also be great during the summer when it's hot and you don't want to use the oven.

THE GOOD; The actual units build quality is great, and the stainless steel main pot with handles and heavy flat bottom for sauté feature is just excellent. Lid designs, easy to clean and switch gaskets if needed. The automatic seal and release and better steam vent …all great. If you cook any kind of food this is essential. I give them 4 stars for price and design features …like the lid handle. (so much easier than NuWave or the others). It does all you ask of it. I use daily. The perfect fish, 2 min pressure, flip fish to skin side up, a lil oil and herbs, air fry for 6 min to get that crisp and it’s resturaunt quality moist with crispy skin at home from frozen and no pan guess work. Same for beans …no soak, 30 min finished perfection. Whole chicken super moist, give it 10 extra with air fry and looks like cookbook photos. Now, THE BAD; The accessories they provide for inside are downright scary. The ‘non stick’ surface on the air fry basket seemed, like paint was chalky and odd. The flimsy “deydrator / broiler’ insert, meh. And the “rack / trivet’ thing for lifting a whole chicken or doing burgers or whatever is not good and super cheap design. (also the black plastic thing they provide for resting hot air fryer lid when not in use, was broken upon arrival, why not silicone?…now if this paragraph stopped You, don’t be scared. None of these HAVE to be used. Spend another $50 in accessories elsewhere till they desire to make some quality ones. There’s a great silicone trivet / lift thing all over Amazon….much better. You can do any 8 quart fit instapot “stainless steamer basket” or a mesh style one for air frying / grilling. There are a ton of options that not only work better than the ones provided but will make your cooking / dehydrating / air frying / baking even better. Wish I could tell You there was one perfect system. This is pretty close. We tried several other brands. The now discontinued ninja foodie, the NuWave (Which seems like would be the best) but was missing things and the lids were heavy and awkward (And huge) plus most “presets” are way off and You end up doing manual time anyway…so that takes you back to ….INSTAPOT PRO CRISP! Take 2 seconds to input the time on this unit and like I said, overall it’s the best bang for your buck, I almost made the mistake of getting the cheaper “non pro” unit for $79 Black Friday sale, my friend pointed out his frustration with never knowing what was going on inside and the low quality inner pot without handles that spins when sautéing and and and…so save yourself all these headaches we had testing and get this pro crisp …the extra lil bit of cash will be worth it when You have a great unit still being used years later …. Now if someone would just start making frozen pizzas that fit and a pizza stone insert …lol we would never use our oven. Lol…hey instapot, if you use my idea I want 10% 😃
