The reason why I bought this rice cooker was its carb reduce funrtion. We love to eat steamed/ boiled rice and eve since I got his rice cooker Ive never looked back. No more traditional ways of cooking steamed rice, this rice makes things super easy! It holds about 20 cups of cooked rice which is 7 cups of dry rice. It takes 40 mins to cook rice using the carb-reduce function. you could also cook rice using the white rice option but the only differenceis that it will Not spearte the starch and sugars from the rice. I’ve prepared quinoa in this cooker and it came out very well cooked and all fluffy. This is not Not a pressure cooker though, but it makes cooking some grains very easy! Great product. Not very heavyweight wise, I easy move it from one side of counter top to the other as needed. For us it has been a great investment, especially as I hev never used a rice cooker before!

I cannot live without this Rice Cooker. It saves me cooking time because every program has their own exact time so I don’t have to struggle with timing or overcooking my rice. I also enjoy the amazing taste of the rice, it’s definitely different! Easy to clean and it has the perfect size to fit in my kitchen counter. Loved it!

The carb reduce feature is not enough for Rice varieties that are parboiled - Example Kerala matta rice or any Indian rice that takes longer to cook. It takes forever to get it cooked on this Carb reduce mode. I had to set it in three 40 min sessions to get it cooked. "Copying the contents of another review, so this reaches the design team". PRO: 1. looks pretty 2. Easy settings 2. easy to use without carb reduce CON: 1. This product has serious design problems 1.1 the rice cannot be fully and thoroughly cooked when you use default settings of "carb reduce". You have to restart the cooker with "carb reduce" and stir the rice with water. 1.2 the inner pot for "carb reduce" is not easy to clean because it is made of stainless steel and rice sticks on it. 1.3 the inner pot for "carb reduce" is easy to scratch the inner pot with non-stick coating 1.4 no water collection cup. When you finish cooking and open the lid, much water flow from the lid down into the pot and edge which may hold some water. 2. the pot is heavy than others. Just like other customers' commend. It is ok for me although it is "heavy". Do not recommend this cooker if you use "carb reduce" a lot and worry about the water from the lid. Will return it.

I’m really happy with this rice cooker! It cooks rice perfectly every time fluffy, evenly cooked, and delicious. The controls are easy to use, and it’s very convenient for quick meals. We are a Filipino married to an American household, and this bad boy is an absolute workhorse. Great size and price at the time. Its pot is steel-coated to prevent sticking and is super easy to clean in the dishwasher. Very easy to use, push the buttons through the menu options. It has held up well to the daily abuse we put it through.

Design is very good. It's a nice fit for an organized kitchen. Good size. We mainly ordered this for carb reducing technology but doesn't seem to be a great in doing it. The stainless stop started rusting after few times of usage. Although we used the pot on daily basis, the steel pot was rusting which is very disappointing
