  • Really good purchase
The media could not be loaded. This is my first time using an egg incubator. I have already incubated a batch of eggs and I’d say I had a pretty good success rate for a beginner. 6 of 7 hatched. Controlling the humidity was difficult at first but then I realized that you have to give it time to adjust. Also, as a beginner I thought I had to put both water bottles full of water on. This is not the case. You use one water bottle during each phase of incubating. The instructions do not tell you this so I found that out through trial and error. I used a hand towel and soaked up what water was in the low side of the incubator before putting my water into the high side. Also take note that the holes inside the lids for each water bottle are slightly different sized. I marked the lids with an L and a H to know which is which. Those caps also work good for holding humidity. If I needed to up my humidity I would just put the cap in the slot on the other side without the water bottle and it helped bring it up like one or two percent. (I thought I would throw that out there for others who are using this incubator.) Once you get it adjusted to where you want it, it stays at that level. The lids to the water bottles don’t sit very well in the unit. I had to fold up a receipt and put it underneath the bottle to make it sit straight. I bought a separate thermometer and humidity reader for inside to see how accurate the incubator is. It seems to be on point. I had six eggs that were developing and I did lose one during hatch but I think that was my fault. The egg must’ve had a crack in it and I opened up the incubator a couple times during lockdown to take out dry babies and help a baby whose foot got stuck. I believe I shrink wrapped the chick during one of those times :( I really love how they have the Styrofoam set up so you can leave your incubator in it to help regulate temp if your house gets cold. I did cut a section of Styrofoam out of the lid so I could take the Styrofoam lid on and off without unplugging it. The lid is a little bit of a pain in the butt to put on but that’s really not a big deal. It definitely needs to be a little bit taller in there because one of my chicks bumped its head on the top where the fan is and I think it’s little feathers got hit by the fan. The fan did make a slight noise real quick and chick ran away. I’d like to note that the chicks I hatched were bantams. I can’t imagine how crammed it must be for standard sized chicks. The unit is pretty easy to clean and it is not loud. I liked it so much that I bought a second one. I’m letting a friend borrow it so her children can have fun incubating some eggs for me. My last tip of advice is to follow the temp and humidity recommendations that come with the incubator. You’re going to get a lot of opinions if you try going online and asking others what you should have your temp and humidity set to. Save yourself the stress and just follow what the company recommends for their incubator. My humidity during the first 18 days was between 53 and 55. My temperature stayed consistent at 100.4. When I went into lockdown my humidity stayed around 72 to 74. Each time a chick hatched the humidity spiked up to about 81. It went back down relatively quickly so I did not mess with the incubator during those times. Temp during lockdown stayed at a consistent 99.5. I am truly impressed with the quality of this incubator for what they are charging us. Thank you very much Sorry for the long review. I really wanted to get as much information out there that I could so other beginners can have as much success as I did. ... show more

  • So many features, excited to hatch some eggs!
We've never hatched eggs before and we're so thrilled to have this incubator. It fits up to 12 eggs so we're still debating how many to start with, but the instructions/manual is super helpful. I've been reading it a few times to familiarize myself before putting fertilized eggs in there, but there's features for keeping a certain temperature, humidity, manual turning, and more that I would've never thought of on my own. It says even the packaging Styrofoam can be useful for keeping it warmer if needed, good thing I didn't throw it away yet. I'm not sure how much electricity this may consume in the 21 days that it'll be on, but I'll post updates after we have successful egg hatching! ... show more

  • Great product and price!!
Absolutely so excited to have this incubator! First, this was very easy to set up and the directions were very thorough. There is multiple settings for different types of eggs and pretty much does everything for you. The only thing is keeping the humidity controlled by adding water. My children and I were able to see how the chickens grew inside of the egg with the candling light. Our first baby hatched today and came out perfectly healthy! We are over the moon excited with this awesome incubator and I would absolutely recommend this to everyone looking to hatch eggs! ... show more

  • Easy set up & nice little incubator!
This is actually a decent little incubator for someone to do a few eggs at a time. We only hatched 3 out of 12 our first time and got 5 the second time. Probably mostly our fault as they may not have all been fertilized eggs. We just kept it in our kitchen and its quiet, fairly easy to set up and good quality for the price! ... show more

  • Easy hatching experience
I was super surprised how well this incubator worked. My egg hatched without needing to keep adding water. The two bottles keeps the humidity at the correct level. The machine itself is easy to clean. It is silent while it’s working. I have it in my bedroom to keep track of my eggs at all times. I would recommend this incubator for an easy hatching process. ... show more

  • Works once, that's all, waste of money!
On second use it no longer Auto rotate and when reset for second use day never goes past day1. Unfortunately that was after the return date. This product should allow for at least a 69 day return.

  • Easy to use
This egg incubator is so much easier to use than my other ones I had in the past. It comes with two bottles so would be no need to be constantly refilling the water. The whole thing is controlled by the lid. You wouldn’t even need to do anything, but wait until your eggs hatch. The days can be adjusted and the instructions are very clear to use. Would recommend. ... show more
